Top 5 small off-road worthy Crossovers reviewed
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) Wikipedia says, "a crossover is a vehicle built on a car platform and combining, in highly variable degrees, features of a sport utility vehicle (SUV) with features from a passenger vehicle, especially those of a station wagon or hatchback." We simply like to say that the crossover is the new family truckster. Here are the Top 5 off-road worthy crossovers that we've driven in 2011.
2013 Buick Enclave First Drive Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2013 Buick Enclave is a luxurious people mover that's been updated for a more modern and sleek design. LED daytime running lights make for the bold first statement. And optional 20 inch wheels body-colored everything and a new upscale interior separate the 2013 Buick Enclave from its sister cars the the Chevy Traverse and the GMC Acadia. We recently had a chance test drive this most popular of all Buick Models in Kentucky. Check out this first drive review that Roman filed after hustling the big Buick through the Kentucky countryside.
2013 Buick Enclave Luxury Crossover SUV Test Drive & Walkaround Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/buick/enclave/2013/ Autobytel recently met with Nick Richards Product Communications Manager for Buick. Nick gave us a wonderful walkaround review of the new 2013 Buick Enclave luxury crossover SUV. This vehicle has been dramatically redesigned for the 2013 model year starting from the front end and working all to the way to the back as well as both inside and out. What's even better is that the 2013 Buick Enclave starts out with an affordable base price of $38,445.
The front end design is now much more dramatic and pronounced look that makes the 2013 Buick Enclave look aggressive. The new grille and LED headlights are the first thing people notice when driving down the road. The standard wheels are 18-inch aluminum pieces but you can upgrade to larger 20-inch chrome rims. Along the sides are chrome accents to give the Enclave a sleeker presence. The rear has been totally redesigned featuring a dual Exhaust that has been integrated into the lower bumper diffuser. The LED taillights give this vehicle a dramatic look at night.
The engine is a 3.6 liter direct injection V-6 that makes 288 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic which helps the 2013 Buick Enclave manage 17 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway.
Buick basically redesigned the entire driver's cockpit on the inside of the Enclave for 2013. The premium materials feature live stitching, contrasting materials, high end wood accents, a new center stack with capacitive touch controls, and accent lighting. One great thing about the Buick Enclave is that it is designed to carry people and families. This large crossover SUV can seat up to 8 passengers but you can also opt for Captain's Chairs in the second row.
The 2013 Buick Enclave is a great buy compared to other large crossover SUVs for a couple of reasons. First, the Enclave price point is lower than most the competition. Second, the Enclave is a great looking car with many new enhancements for the 2013 model year. Third, the interior is segment leading thanks to the nice choice of materials. The Enclave has proven to be a good vehicle for the past 5 years and now with this new refresh ups the ante even more.
