1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Engine Start
First time starting up the 2333 cc engine (91x84mm) that I installed in my
wife's freshly restored 1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia convertible. Yes, I
know my coil is installed upside-down. The after-market wire harness was
installed with too little slack to reach a downward-pointing coil. This is

Yaril's Volkswagen Type 3 - BRtv Episode 3
Imagine yourself back in the Do-Wop 1950s. Now picture what a young car
guy, hot rodder type, would look like. Then take that image, dip it in a
batter of Cuban heritage, add a good dose of upbringing and family values.
Follow that with a splash of love of all things vintage and cool, and
lastly add a great sense of style, attention to detail, and humility. Now
pull that person in the present time and drop him in Miami Florida. What
you might get, my not be too far off of Yaril Quintana.
Yaril is just about one the coolest and nicest people you can meet. He's
the owner of Yaril's Customs out of Miami Florida, and is the builder and
owner of this awesome VW Type 3. He's a hot rod builder and an incredible
craftsman, with award winning capabilities and an astounding sense of
attention to detail. His shop is as clean and as cool and anything else he
puts his name to. Just hanging out there, makes a normal person want to
run out, buy a junker and build it into a hot rod, or something as cool.
This video celebrates his awesome Squareback, and attempts to show a little
bit about the man himself, and what are the principles that drive the kind
of creativity that make a shop like his, a possibility, as well as a
realization to a life long dream.
Let me say again, you could almost not meet a nicer, cooler guy than Yaril
Quintana, with as much talent, humility, and just good core values, as the
ones that drive him.
We hope you enjoy this video. For more on this story and some cool pics

1966 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Restoration
This is a 1966 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia I recently did the finish body work
and paint on. The sheetmetal replacement was performed by Kelly "Metwiz"
Brown. Color is Porsche Guards Red. The car is going back to the owner for
re-assembly. Music by The Wind-Ups.
GSXR Powered VW Bug HotRod
Check out this crazy creation from the minds of Hudlow Axle in Georgia.
They made a Hot Rod VW Bug with a GSXR 1000 Motor! This thing rips. It uses
air bag suspension, custom 2wd cherokee front axle, sidekick rear axle, and
much more. Be sure to Like our Facebook Page at

Porsche 914 V8 - cold start up, drive off.
Chevy 383 with Hi-rise intake Edelbrock intake manifold, headers, 911 front
suspension & brakes, 17" 911 RS "Cup" wheels.
This car is rude, loud and obnoxious. I mean LOUD, not loud. This is not
the sort of car that your wife/girlfriend/mother-in-law would approve of or
want to be seen in. In fact, if you think you may have to ask for "her"
permission, hit the "back" button now because this car is not for you. This
car will hurt your other car's feelings and even scare your dog, unless
your dog is super-cool.
Chevy V8 383 Stroker motor. 5-speed trans. Fiberglass flares, bumpers, and
air dam. Murdered out in satin black, including wheels.
• 450+ hp 383 Stroker motor - Chevy V8 - overkill, yes, but that's the
point. If you have to ask why, please grab your wine cooler and get back to
• 17" aluminum 911 "Cup" Wheels with newer performance tires
• Satin Paint - paint NOT primer
• Wide body / flare kit, expertly installed, bodyworked and painted
• Front bumper / air dam & rear bumper
• Dual Exhaust
• Decent & clean interior
• All Autometer gauges including huge Tach
• All lights work
• Retractable headlights work great, recently rebuilt.
• Griffin Aluminum radiator and electric cooling fan.
• Front end suspension & subframe completely strengthened and reinforced
with tubular chromoly - stiff and responsive.
• 911 Front suspension and disk brakes / calipers.
• Front brakes just replaced with new calipers and brake lines
• New shifter bushings from from to back - shifter is very tight, no
• Needs a new alignment - which I plan to do soon.
The car would cost well over $20,000 to replicate. Asking $11,500 obo.
