turbo Nissan 370Z in Tampa, Florida.
Running 10 PSI on all stock internals, this is a true bolt on kit that will
give your 370Z a big Boost in power.
Hold on tight, this is one wild ride!

Not racing or shifting fast... had to drive one-handed to hold the phone.
CEL is on because cat-less downpipes, later software adjustment resolved
that. TPMS light on because I am not running the sensors in the Volks.
In the video the car was running Toyo R888 305/30/19 with -1.4 rear camber.
This is why it was getting some spin in 3rd gear. Currently running Toyo TQ
DR 315/35/18, and now it only gets spin in 1st gear, even on crappy
Lots of people underestimate the VQ powered Z cars. I dont blame them. The
platform lacks in abundance the attention and support of most of the
industry's knowledgeable tuners. It is no GT-R or Boosted Gallardo, but a well-done Boosted VQ Z can at least be a respectable
street performance platform when tuned in the right hands. The car in this
video is merely 7.5psi Boost with
100% bolt-on modifications, stock ECU reflashed.

Fuel + Tuning of Uprev Osiris software, Greddy Exhaust, OSGiken Twin Clutch. Bone stock long
block. 7.5psi Boost, E85 fuel.
Car is up to 48,500 miles on the engine/chassis... IIRC correctly, I think
the car was at around 18,000 miles when I installed the kit... meaning
about 30,000 miles on the setup. Oil is changed every 5000 miles with Mobil
1 5w30 since new. So far, vehicle has required no additional service or
experienced any mechanical failures.
GTM 370Z 1000HP MAF CALIBRATIONN -ANOTHER MILE STONE
We would like to share a mile stone we've achieved regarding the stock ECU.
Over the last few months we've been working on developing a way to overcome
one of the limitations of the stock ECU when it comes to making big power.
While Uprev enables the aftermarket to rewrite the stock ECU in the
370Z/G37, there have been a few hurdles to jump when pushing the envelope
over 600whp. Since day one, we always kept in mind that people will only
want more power. In anticipation, we chose to use 3" MAF piping in all of
our turbo kits and the GTM Stage 2 Supercharger Kit. Doing that gives us more
headroom when it comes to MAF Voltage. It's a mechanical calibration that
allows us to get the factory MAF to read more airflow. Even at 600whp, the
MAF voltage is getting up to 4.9 to 4.95 Volts. While this is still below
the 5 Volt limit, it does not give us any headroom to compensate for
changing atmospheric conditions (such as a cold morning). The next step was
to find an aftermarket MAF sensor that can replace the factory Nissan unit
with the same physical dimensions and connector. Of course, that was the
easy part. The challenging part is to produce a good calibration that
contains a linear MAF curve so we can get the best resolution and still
plenty of headroom for more horsepower while retaining
factory drivability. This development translates into having a 1000hp car
that starts up every time and can be driven normally on the street.
Ultimately, this has greatly expanded the capabilities of the factory ECU
to the level of performance commonly relegated to a standalone EMS. While
some standalone EMS options may have some additional features that set it
apart, we've really narrowed the gap here.
To close the gap altogether, we are working on developing a system that
will enable us to retard ignition timing in response to knock as well as Boost cut. Once that is developed,
there will be no reason for a standalone EMS in this platform.
