Cadillac Converj concept 2009 Detroit (High quality version)
General Motors award winning Cadillac Converj concept car from the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The Converj features an enhanced version of the revolutionary Voltec power system created by GM for the 2010 Chevrolet Volt. The Converj coupe can be driven up to 40 miles on the battery pack alone and another 300+ miles with the built-in range extender. The dashboard features OLED digital touch screen displays and rearview mirrors are replaced with miniature TV cameras with dashboard displays, thereby improving aerodynamics. Check out one of the most anticipated vehicles in Chevys lineup The Volt. In this video a lovely booth lady explains some of the features of the Volt and gives us a little tour around the vehicle. Being the first time Ive seen the Volt in person, I must say that it looks like a thing of the future. Gotta give it to Chevy for taking one big step to a smaller footprint and a bigger wallet.

The Cadillac Converj is a concept car manufactured by the Cadillac division of General Motors.[1] It was shown at the 2009 North American International Auto Show.
Incorporating the propulsion system from the Chevy Volt—the battery pack, the 120-kilowatt electric motor, and the four-cylinder engine-generator, collectively dubbed the "Voltec" electric propulsion system—the Cadillac concept vehicle has an all-electric range of 40 miles (64 km) and a top speed of 100 mph (160 km/h). The two-door, front-wheel-drive coupe recharges in only three hours using a 240-volt outlet, the type commonly used for large electric appliances

The course was closed and small in a parking lot so didn't get to really let loose but, the essential features are amazing.
