1966 Chevy Impala AWD project attacks autocross at Hot Rod Power Tour
Keith Lively, of Birmingham, Alabama, built a basket-case 1966 Chevrolet
Impala into a hot-footed beast with the help of a 2003 GMC Denali. Lively
morphed the AWD, LS drivetrain, chassis components along with the interior
of the late model GMC into a 1966 Impala. The results are a spectacular
handling beast that can haul the family and eat asphalt.
Ron Kidd and the Junkyard Life team got to experience Lively's creation
first-hand at the 2013 Hot Rod Power Tour when the long-haulers, including
Lively, landed at the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium.
Hold on, the wicked 6.0 LS engine can sling you around as the
all-wheel-drive chews up the autocross.

impala video 41 "the 63's first saturday night car show"
over 450 custom cars in this monthly car show. this is the show I was
driving to when I drove in to the hole. I replaced the A-frame on the 63
that was bent and both ball joints on that side. It has still been over
100*F here and I'm waiting for it to cool off some before I get after the
floors on the 63.
