http://www.autobytel.com/volvo/c30/2012/?id=32972 The 2012 Volvo C30 coupe is a lot of fun to drive. Volvo is known for being one of the world's safest car manufacturer. Most of their line-up consists of sedans and crossover utility vehicles and the C30 is the only coupe in their line-up of vehicles. The 2012 Volvo C30 has a base price of $24,950 with the top of the line R-Design Platinum costing $31,850. But you can add a factory performance upgrade called the Polestar package for under $2000 that will Boost performance significantly. Volvo did not hold back when it came to powering the C30. Under the hood live a turbocharged 2.5 liter inline 5-cylinder engine that makes 227 horsepower and 236 lb-ft. of torque. Transmission options are a 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic. Fuel economy is pretty good for a high performance engine as the 2012 Volvo C30 nets 21 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway. The vehicle featured in this car review video has the $1295 Polestar Performance Package equipped. This package is essential an engine tuner software that adds 23 HP and 37 lb-ft. of torque without sacrificing fuel economy. Also the Polestar Package will not void the factory warranty. When you opt for the 6-speed manual transmission the fun factor really goes through the roof. On the inside the interior has a very simple Scandinavian look and feel to it. 2012 Toyota Prius Test Drive & Hybrid Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/toyota/prius/2012/?id=32972 There is really only one car that comes to mind when the subject of hybrid cars comes up. The Toyota Prius was the car that changed the game when it came to fuel economy. The design of the 2012 Toyota Prius is meant to help the car slip through the air as easily as possible. Less drag directly results in better fuel economy which is why many hybrid vehicles on the road today have the same wedge shape as the Toyota Prius. In fact the 0.25 drag coefficient on the 2012 Prius is one of the lowest figures of any mainstream vehicle. Toyota engineers have spent countless hours in the wind tunnel so that you can go further with less fuel. The base model Prius starts at $23,015 with the top of the line model going for just under $30,000. The 2012 Toyota Prius is powered by Toyota's famous Hybrid Synergy Drive System which is comprised of a 1.8 liter 4-cylinder engine and an electric motor. The Atkinson Cycle engine is good for 98 horsepower and the added electric motor makes and additional 36 HP bringing the total power on the 2012 Toyota Prius up to 134 horsepower. There is a Continuously Variable Transmission that helps in the fuel economy department. The Prius also has a start-stop system and can run on electric power alone up to 15 MPH. These fuel saving tactics combined with the low drag coefficient and efficient engine allow the 2012 Toyota Prius Hybrid to get 51 MPG in the city and 48 MPG on the highway. You know what you are getting into when you get behind the wheel of a Toyota Prius. You are going to have full electric operation at low speeds, a little bit of noise once the gas engine is engaged, and an overall smooth driving experience. There is nothing sporty or exciting about driving the 2012 Toyota Prius. The main reason you buy one of these hybrids is for the outstanding fuel economy and the Prius delivers. And if you are looking at buying a hybrid vehicle the Toyota Prius is still the king. 2012 Nissan 370Z Test Drive & Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/nissan/370z/2012/?id=32972 The Nissan Z Car has been around since the early 1970's under the Datsun name. For year the Z has been one of the most beloved affordable sports cars both here in the United States and in Japan as well. The 2012 Nissan 370Z is considered the Mustang of Japan since the drive train configuration, price, and body style is similar to that of many American muscle cars. The 2012 Nissan 370Z has a base price of $31,910 with the top of the line Touring Roadster costing over $44,000. The 2012 Nissan 370Z is powered by one of the best engines every produced by Nissan. The VQ37VHR is a 3.7 liter V-6 engine with Variable Valve Timing that produces 332 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque. A 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmission puts the power down to the rear wheels. The 2012 Nissan 370Z can achieve up to 19 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway. The 370Z is considered to be the little brother of the mighty Nissan GT-R. It is smaller, costs less, and does not have as much power. That being said the 2012 Nissan 370Z does benefit from having the GT-R as an older brother in that some of the high end technology and options have been passed down to the 370Z. The first thing you notice are the huge 19-inch RAYS sport rims. These forged alloy wheels are not only strong but they are also lightweight. The 370Z also sports a sleek body with functional spoilers both front and rear. In the performance department the 2012 Nissan 370Z has a viscous limited-slip differential which makes sure power is transferred to the wheel that needs it the most. Also the Nissan 370Z features a SynchroRev Match system which automatically blips the throttle to promote faster and smoother shifting between gears. The 2012 Nissan 370Z is an excellent sports car. It may be a little rough around the edges and a little on the pricey side, but if you want a true Japanese sports car with over 300 horsepower and rear-wheel drive, then the 370Z is an excellent choice. 2012 Volvo S60 Test Drive & Luxury Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/volvo/s60/2012/ The 2012 Volvo S60 has the most powerful engine Volvo has ever had in a sedan. The turbocharged 3.0 liter inline-6 produces 325 horsepower and 354 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy for this engine is 18 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway. There is also a smaller less powerful 2.5 liter 5-cylinder that makes 250 horsepower and 256 lb-ft of torque. Less power and a smaller engine means better fuel economy and the 2.5 liter gets 20 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway. Prices range from $31,150 to $42,950. From a design standpoint Volvo has really stepped up their game. The 2012 Volvo S60 has everything in its arsenal to compete with other entry level luxury sedans. There are a bunch of great safety features that come standard on the S60. On the inside the Volvo keeps it simple and comfortable. But it's the monster engine that is the best part of the new 2012 S60 luxury sedan. See More Car Videos http://www.autobytel.com/car-videos/ Join Our Facebook Page http://www.facebook.com/autobytel

Like us on Facebook @ http://www.Facebook.com/2Redline Senior Editor Christian Rosario takes us on a tour of this beautiful 2011 Volvo Hatchback with the undercover auction cam! "The 2011 Volvo C30 isn't your typical "hot hatch." Sure, it's got a powerful turbocharged engine and an available sport-tuned suspension, but this Swede is about a lot more than just speed. Don't get us wrong -- the C30 actually drives nicely and has more dynamic capabilities than most drivers will care to exploit. But with its chic interior and a classic hatchback design that evokes Volvos of yore, the C30 is also the closest thing in this segment to automotive art." (Edmunds.com)

New Volvos Intense Driving Tests
Hällered, a fenced-in 7 million m² area an hour away from Gothenburg, Sweden, is Volvo Cars main testing facility. The track stretches 26 km, consisting of 15 different test tracks designed to simulate every type of road surface and weather condition a car can be subjected to during its long life time, including a fully-equipped public highway within the area. The tests are carefully planned and computer monitored. In just a few months, cars are aged as much as during the entire anticipated lifetime of the vehicles in normal traffic, thanks to test drivers working around the clock. The car's active safety system is also tested at the facility. A special rig has been developed just to test the Pedestrian Detection system that should detect pedestrians and apply the brakes if the driver does not react in time.

Let's Talk Cars - 2012 Volvo C30 R Design Review Test Drive
Miami's Community Newspapers Presents "Let's Talk Cars" Featuring automotive editor, Ron Beasley. The Volvo C30 is a two-door hatchback that's sporty, functional and has a lot to offer in the way of standard equipment. The C30 has been around since 2007 and shares most of its mechanicals with the Volvo S40 sedan. But it has less standard equipment, making it Volvo's lowest priced vehicle. The C30 was restyled last year with a new front fascia, new fenders, a new honeycomb grille and new trapezoidal headlights. So there is no design change for 2012. Two new trim levels have been added to complement the base T5 and R-Design models - Premier Plus and Platinum. Premier Plus adds a power glass sunroof, power driver and passenger seats and LED daytime running lights. Platinum adds more technology, including all the features of Premier Plus, and a 10-speaker, 650-watt Volvo Premium Sound System with Dolby Pro Logic II surround sound, a navigation system with real time traffic and Sirius/XM satellite radio. With its compact size, smart design and peppy turbocharged five-cylinder engine, the Volvo C30 really is run to drive. With its relatively wide front and rear tracks and long wheelbase, it has exceptionally stable driving characteristics. Under the hood, there's a 227 HP 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine. It's mated to either a standard six-speed manual transmission or a five-speed geartronic automatic with the auto-stick function. The front-wheel drive C30 gets pretty good fuel economy at 21 miles per gallon around town and 30 MPG on the highway. The C30 T5 comes standard with a healthy roster of standard equipment, including dynamic stability and traction control, Volvo's side impact protection system and whiplash protection seating system, T-Tec upholstery, a leather gearshift knob with aluminum inlay, cruise control, a high performance 160-watt audio system, iPod/USB and auxiliary inputs, High Definition radio, and Bluetooth integrated interface. Other enhancements for all c30s include a standard center armrest for rear seat passengers and standard security alarm. A new exterior color has been added -- Caspian blue metallic. Pricing on the Volvo C30 T5 ranges from $24,950 to $31,850. -Ron Beasley Filmed by Max Princiotta and Spencer Thompson, edited by Max Princiotta. Please contact us for more information.
