http://www.autobytel.com/toyota/avalon/2012/ The full sized Toyota Avalon has not seen a redesign since 2005. Sure there have been a few revisions, updates, and upgrades made along the way; but it wasn't until 2011 that the Avalon received an exterior styling change. But the Avalon has always stressed luxury and comfort at an affordable price. Toyota has practically used all they have learned over the past few decades to create a car that is on par with many of Germany's finest luxury vehicles. And the Avalon was named a Top Safety Pick for 2012 by the IIHS. The base price for the 2012 Toyota Avalon is $33,195. On the inside the 2012 Toyota Avalon is on par with many more expensive luxury cars. The amount of legroom and interior volume is great. Over 40 inches of rear leg room. The Avalon features reclining seats for a more comfortable ride. Up front the plush seat are heated and ventilated for your comfort. The cabin is very quiet and the suspension is perfectly suited for a more luxurious smooth ride. There is a ton of technology loaded into the Avalon like Bluetooth streaming audio, a 12-speaker audio system, rain sensing windshield wipers, a rearview backup camera. The DVD Navigation system is voice activated too and can respond to 100 commands. The 2012 Toyota Avalon is powered by a 3.5 liter V-6 engine with VVT-I which helps aid in performance as well as fuel economy. The Avalon puts out 268 horsepower and 248 lb-ft. of torque through a 6-speed automatic transmission. Fuel Economy figures are 19 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway. Even though the current 3rd generation Toyota Avalon has not been refreshed in a few years, the full sized pseudo luxury car has been updated year after year with many great improvements and enhancements. 2012 Volvo C70 Inscription Polestar Test Drive & Convertible Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/volvo/c70/2012/ The 2012 Volvo C70 is the only convertible in the auto manufacturer's line-up. While the Swedish automaker Volvo is best known for creating safe cars, one thing they have shown with the 2012 Volvo C70 hard top convertible is that the Scandinavians also know how to have fun. The C70 blends the styling of a two door coupe with the experience of an open air sports car aimed at those individuals that are looking for more than mere transportation and expect a certain level of luxury and elegance from their new purchase. The C70 is powered by a 2.5 Liter turbocharged five cylinder engine that produces 227 HP and 236 lb-ft of torque in stock trim and returns an EPA estimated 18 MPG around town and as much as 28 MPG on the highway starting at $40,450. However Volvo also offers an Inscription model, starting at $44,350, that upgrades not only the Volvo's output but also adds to the look and feel of the luxury drop top. Starting off with a simple ECU retune, the Swedish racers over at Polestar were able to extract a total of 250 HP and 273 lb-ft of torque from the C70 without voiding the warranty or burning any extra MPG. On the outside the C70 Inscription wears a set of 18 inch high gloss wheels to match the brilliant new front grill and receives a set of LED daytime running lights. On the inside, occupants are greeted with a leather wrapped dash and matching instrument panel complete with unique interior accent stitching as well as a sport steering wheel with aluminum insert and a pair of sport pedals to finish off the C70's transformation. 2012 Scion xD Test Drive and Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/scion/xd/2012/ The 2012 Scion xD is a car that has been marketed to the younger generation since its inception. But the xD is more than just a sub-compact teenager car. Instead the Scion xD is affordably priced, it gets solid fuel economy, it looks good, and comes packed with a ton of standard features and options; making it an appealing vehicle for a broad spectrum of car buyers. And the best part if the 2012 Scion xD only costs $15,345. The best thing about the Scion line-up is that all the vehicles they make are pretty hip and sporty. They all drive well and get excellent fuel economy. The second best thing about the Scion brand is that they are a no non-sense company. Meaning they offer one trim level per vehicle. So the Honda Accord or Ford F-150 for instance can have up to 30 different trim levels. Not so with the 2012 Scion xD. There is one model available with either a manual or automatic transmission. From there you can add on tons of options for the engine, suspension, interior, and exterior. Toyota Racing Development (TRD) makes tons of parts for the Scion xD which can be ordered directly through the dealership. Want a cool performance Exhaust or sport air filter? TRD makes those. Want to lower your ride and add stiffer suspension components? No problem as those can be bought and installed from any Scion dealership. The options for exterior, interior, and performance modifications are numerous. In the end you can have a very unique automobile right from the factory. The 2012 Scion xB is powered by a 1.8 liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 128 horsepower and 125 lb-ft. of torque. Not a whole lot but this is a sub-compact car and it does not take much to get it going. Also remember the xD is quite inexpensive so you cannot expect to have a high powered motor. The small engine makes for great fuel economy with the 2012 Scion xD netting 27 MPG in the city and 33 MPG on the highway. The Scion xD comes standard with many great features like air conditioning, power everything, cruise control, keyless entry, a Pioneer audio system, Bluetooth, and HD radio. The 2012 Scion xD is also very safe getting top ratings in 12 of the 13 IIHS categories. 2012 Nissan 370Z Test Drive & Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/nissan/370z/2012/?id=32972 The Nissan Z Car has been around since the early 1970's under the Datsun name. For year the Z has been one of the most beloved affordable sports cars both here in the United States and in Japan as well. The 2012 Nissan 370Z is considered the Mustang of Japan since the drive train configuration, price, and body style is similar to that of many American muscle cars. The 2012 Nissan 370Z has a base price of $31,910 with the top of the line Touring Roadster costing over $44,000. The 2012 Nissan 370Z is powered by one of the best engines every produced by Nissan. The VQ37VHR is a 3.7 liter V-6 engine with Variable Valve Timing that produces 332 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque. A 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmission puts the power down to the rear wheels. The 2012 Nissan 370Z can achieve up to 19 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway. The 370Z is considered to be the little brother of the mighty Nissan GT-R. It is smaller, costs less, and does not have as much power. That being said the 2012 Nissan 370Z does benefit from having the GT-R as an older brother in that some of the high end technology and options have been passed down to the 370Z. The first thing you notice are the huge 19-inch RAYS sport rims. These forged alloy wheels are not only strong but they are also lightweight. The 370Z also sports a sleek body with functional spoilers both front and rear. In the performance department the 2012 Nissan 370Z has a viscous limited-slip differential which makes sure power is transferred to the wheel that needs it the most. Also the Nissan 370Z features a SynchroRev Match system which automatically blips the throttle to promote faster and smoother shifting between gears. The 2012 Nissan 370Z is an excellent sports car. It may be a little rough around the edges and a little on the pricey side, but if you want a true Japanese sports car with over 300 horsepower and rear-wheel drive, then the 370Z is an excellent choice. Auction Report: 2011 Volvo C30 T5 R-Design Walkaround and Review
Help us grow so we can bring you more videos! Like us on Facebook @ http://www.Facebook.com/2Redline Senior Editor Christian Rosario takes us on a tour of this beautiful 2011 Volvo Hatchback with the undercover auction cam! "The 2011 Volvo C30 isn't your typical "hot hatch." Sure, it's got a powerful turbocharged engine and an available sport-tuned suspension, but this Swede is about a lot more than just speed. Don't get us wrong -- the C30 actually drives nicely and has more dynamic capabilities than most drivers will care to exploit. But with its chic interior and a classic hatchback design that evokes Volvos of yore, the C30 is also the closest thing in this segment to automotive art." (Edmunds.com)

New Volvos Intense Driving Tests
Hällered, a fenced-in 7 million m² area an hour away from Gothenburg, Sweden, is Volvo Cars main testing facility. The track stretches 26 km, consisting of 15 different test tracks designed to simulate every type of road surface and weather condition a car can be subjected to during its long life time, including a fully-equipped public highway within the area. The tests are carefully planned and computer monitored. In just a few months, cars are aged as much as during the entire anticipated lifetime of the vehicles in normal traffic, thanks to test drivers working around the clock. The car's active safety system is also tested at the facility. A special rig has been developed just to test the Pedestrian Detection system that should detect pedestrians and apply the brakes if the driver does not react in time.

2013 Infiniti G37 vs Audi S5 vs Volvo S60 0-60 MPH Mile High Mashup Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The brand new 2013 Infiniti G37x, the Audi S5 Quattro and the Volvo S60 T5 AWD all have just thing in common; they are all-wheel-drive cars. But perhaps more importantly these three car represent three very different ways to achieve power. The new Infiniti G37x is normally aspirated, while the Volvo S60 T5 is turbocharged and the Audi S5 Quattro is supercharged. So of course we were curious which of these three cars is faster to 60 MPH @ 1 mile above sea level. In the process of testing all three cars from 0-60 MPH we also wanted to find out just how much a driver can really influence a cars performance so Roman and Nathan decided to have a small contest to see who's faster. Is it Roman or Nathan or perhaps Andre the Russian mechanic. Find in another fun TFLcar Mashup Review.
