Left out: hatch storage (really good plus fold downs), also headroom and
legroom is great. The car also comes with a little credit card holder thing
built into dash that's cool, forgot to mention...
2013 Chevy Sonic Review - Kelley Blue Book
The Chevy Sonic may be better than the abysmal Aveo it replaced but can it
stand alongside the best in its segment? In this video Kelley Blue Book's

The all new Chevy Sonic, in Inferno Orange metallic, is such a great
quality compact vehicle. We were impressed with its features and price tag
upon our first review. The simplicity of this vehicle is hardly seen with
its progressive instrument display, to include the RPM gauge and
Speedometer/Driver Information Center. Its hard to believe that Chevy
actually put a 6-speed transmission in this inexpensive sedan. You have to
test drive it to feel its power and comfort. This is a new Chevy! Chevy

Geeking Out: Review - 2013 Chevy Sonic Sedan
I test drove the 2013 Chevy Sonic for a week and was impressed. It's a fun
little car to drive, easy on gas and cute as hell! I really like this car
and not just because I'm a Chevy chick! Now it's not perfect (but who is?)
with some interior design choices I didn't like too much but i'm all about
the drive and this fun to drive! So I'm recommending the 2013 Chevy Sonic
Standard equipment on the Sonic LS includes 15-inch steel wheels, automatic
headlights, an integrated blind-spot mirror, power locks, keyless entry,
air-conditioning, a height-adjustable driver seat, a tilt-and-telescoping
steering wheel, OnStar emergency communications, Bluetooth phone
connectivity, a trip computer and a four-speaker sound system with an
auxiliary audio jack and steering wheel controls.
The 2013 Chevy Sonic comes standard with a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine
that produces 138 horsepower and 125
pound-feet of torque. A five-speed manual transmission is standard and
includes a hill-holder feature. A six-speed automatic transmission is
optional. EPA-estimated fuel economy is 25 mpg city/35 mpg highway and 28
mpg combined with the automatic and 26/35/30 with the manual.
Every 2013 Chevy Sonic comes standard with traction and stability control,
integrated blind spot mirrors, front and rear side airbags, side curtain
airbags and front knee airbags. The LS, LT and LTZ feature antilock brakes
with front discs and rear drums, while the RS has discs all around. Also
standard is OnStar, which includes automatic crash notification, on-demand
roadside assistance, an emergency button, stolen vehicle locator and active
intervention, and remote door unlock.
2014 Chevrolet Sonic RS 1.4L Turbo Test Drive Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/chevrolet/sonic/2014/?id=32972 The Chevrolet Sonic
should be on your shopping list for a couple of reasons:
1) The car is very cheap with a starting price of $14,170
2) It is one of the few small cars actually built in America
3) The Sonic drives and handles well
4) The car is very safe with 10 airbags
On the inside the Sonic is cheeky and playful. The instrument set-up is
unique combining both analog and digital gauges. The brushed silver trim
and fake suede is nice enough. The driver's compartment is roomy and easy
to see the road. The basic Sonic engine is a naturally aspirated 1.8 liter.
But this Sonic RS has a 1.4 liter ECOTEC turbocharged 4-cylinder which is peppy and eager.
The Sonic puts together some great ingredients resulting in a very
satisfying overall experience. This RS model starts at $20k after all is
said and done.

2013 Chevrolet Sonic RS First Drive Review & 0-60 MPH Test
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2013 Chevrolet Sonic RS is a small turbo-charged pocket rocket that's fun to drive.
But is it faster than the Sonic turbo? That's a question that we answer in
this first drive review as we drive, test and review the new RS version of
the Sonic turbo in San Francisco. Of
course we don't just drive the new Sonic RS, we also put it to the the
TFLcar real world test 0-60 MPH test. So how fast is the new Sonic RS 0-60
MPH? Watch this video to find out.

2014 Chevrolet Sonic Review by Automotive Trends
GM's been enjoying much improved sales results the last few years and a big
driver of that has been the newfound competitiveness in its car lineup.
Chevrolet now has a strong entry at every level from the ity bity Spark to
the downright handsome Impala and it's been far too long since we've been
able to declare that. We just got a crack at the 5-door Sonic and while no
one will be using phrases like "downright handsome" to describe it, we
found a lot to like about the little Michigan-made Chevy. First is the
excellent 1.4-liter turbo that delivers
a stout 148 lb-ft of torque at a very useable 2,500 rpm and manages to earn
29 mpg city and 40 mpg highway. We liked the 6-speed manual that delivered
rewarding shifts and smooth clutch engagement. Just like we noted in the
Spark the technology offered at this price point continues to impress. Our
$20,405 tester featured a backup camera, bluetooth, lane departure and
forward collision alert systems, satellite radio and the touch-screen
MyLink system for easily controlling compatible iPhone apps like navigation
and Pandora. We would ask Chevy to bring back some simple volume and tuning
knobs. We found the Sonic commendably quiet with a comfortable ride quality
and impressive responses considering this wasn't even a sport-oriented RS
model. The seats were very comfortable and nicely bolstered and the driving
position was spot on with no sense that this was an economy car. Our
particular tester featured a selection of dealer-installed accessories like
black wheels and a cat back Borla Exhaust that might appeal to young buyers that
make up a big part of this car's target audience but certainly aren't
needed. With solid ergonomics, a willing powertrain and no glaring
penalties for choosing one of their smallest cars, a Chevy showroom should
be high on your list when shopping in this segment.
