Harrop Engineering's Corvette Z06 on Forgeline GA1R Wheels at the 2012 World Time Attack Challenge
When Harrop Engineering decided to participate in the 2012 World Time Attack Challenge in Sydney, Australia, they imported a new Corvette Z06, converted it to right hand drive, and started tuning it from scratch with only a few weeks of preparation. Even with very little tuning time and driving practice, Harrop's first attempt at the World Time Attack Challenge in their Corvette Z06 was a huge success. They bettered their original 1:42 lap time goal with a 1:41.08, finished 4th overall, and won the Rear Wheel Drive, Naturally-Aspirated, and V8 divisions! Their extremely fast Z06 is equipped with components from Harrop, Eaton Performance Products, EVL Motorsports, Akrapovic Exhaust System, Pfadt Race Engineering, JRi Shocks, BrownDavis, and Velo. And it is fitted with Forgeline one piece monoblock GA1R Open Lug wheels finished in the Satin Black powder coat with a red pinstripe. My 95 Saturn SC2 with a 2005 Saturn Ion redline engine and trans swap. Current mods are ZZP front mount heat exchanger, ZZP dual pass endplate, ZZP stage 1 pcm, Cobalt addictions shorty header with 3 inch down pipe and 2.5 inch full Exhaust. None of this would have been possible without the help of my best friend Lee Alt. He is the owner of Lees garage and a master fabricator and welder. This guy could build his own space shuttle from scrap parts.

The fastest factory original stock saturn ion redline 1/4 mile time. With 4 year old Original Factory Dunlop tires that are Dry rotted and one tire is pluged twice. This was my first time driving the wife's car. I got the time on just my third pass down the strip! "STOCK" This is a Factory Original "STOCK" Record Set may of 2008.. If you can beat this time the same way I did. I will take this video down. if you think your stock redline on the Original Dunlop tires is faster, a valid time slip with a video that will do. NO more privite messages. CLEAR ENOUGH?
