Any requests for different trans or more honda vids??? Peace !!
Beginning assembly process of a BAXA Transmission. I had to stop because I
found 2 s
tuck valves (clutch pressure A and B). This came out of an 2000 or 1999
Honda Accord, I really don't remember. The Torque Converter was worn out,
which clogged the filter, which then froze the valves for 1st and 2nd,
which then smoked the clutches! Amazing design of Honda autos, but their
basic flaw keeps people like me in business; the internal filter. These
are basically standard/manual transmissions with a clutch pack to engage
each individual gear selection done automatically through the valve body
circuits, accumulators and solenoids. After the rebuild was done I
installed a rebuilt torque converter. If you enjoyed this video, please
comment and I can make more like this or how-to, how to videos and
tips/tricks to fix these transmissions. Most have pattern failures like
this one. Thanks for watching and leave a like or even a dislike, I would
enjoy feedback either way!! Have a great day!

Transmission Solenoid Testing (Ohms Law) - Transmission Repair
Transmission Solenoid Testing. Here I use Ohms Law for testing. I believe
that this is the only way to test your solenoids on or off the vehicle.
Remember that the solenoids fail under LOAD! So just Ohm testing on its own
is not really accurate. Other tests can be done, but if you just own a
VoltOhmeter, that should be all you would need to perform your testing.
Voltage drop testing is also accurate but you also need to put your
component under load.
Ohms Law, Learn it, make it your own.
Voltage Divided by Ohms equals Amps...
Honda Transmission Repair 1
Burned Converters Are A Thing Of The past!
This is a very common issue that we have been facing since the late 90's.
It would be more common on on the heavier vehicles like th Odyssey and the
Accord V6. But you would aslo see it on the 4 cylinder Accords as well.
Although there was a lot of changes and updates to the torque converter,
the problem remained. Well, her is a solution for this particular problem.
Hope this will help you.
