2015 Chevrolet Colorado vs. 2015 GMC Canyon
2015 Chevy Colorado to start at $20,100*, GMC Canyon at $20,995** General Motors has just announced pricing for its new midsize pickup trucks, the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon. Chevy's truck starts at $20,100, *not including $895 for destination, and the GMC starts at $20,995, **not including $925 for destination. These prices are for the base, extended cab models with the 200-horsepower, 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine. Comparatively, these prices fit nicely with the $18,125 starting MSRP of the Toyota Tacoma and the $21,510 of the Nissan Frontier. Compared to the Colorado, the Canyon's extra $895 gets you niceties like LED running lamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, and a four-way power driver's seat. Both trucks come standard with the 2.5-liter engine, and a more powerful, 305-hp 3.6-liter V6 will also be available. Pricing has not been announced for the upcoming diesel model, which is expected to launch for the 2016 model year. Chevrolet has confirmed that the Colorado LT Crew Cab 2WD with a five-foot box will start at $27,090, and the more upscale Colorado Z70 Crew Cab 4x4 with a five-foot box comes in at $34,095. On the GMC front, the Canyon SLE Extended Cab 2WD will start at $$26,595, and the SLT Crew Cab 4x4 arrives at $36,950, including the aforementioned V6. Optional features on the trucks include GM's new 4G LTE connectivity with a built-in wifi hotspot, forward collision alert, lane departure warning, and the GearOn accessory system. Specific option pricing has not been released as of this writing. Scroll down for the full details in the pair of press releases. This Is How The 2015 Colorado And Canyon Decimate The Toyota Tacoma And Nissan Frontier You may already know that the 2015 Chevy Colorado and 2015 GMC Canyon are much better vehicles than their direct competition — the Toyota Tacoma and Nissan Frontier. Not only are the Chevy and GMC mid-sizers more powerful and more capable, but they are also more fuel efficient — towering head and shoulders above the Toyota and Nissan. And that’s not to mention the vast amounts of high-tech features and creature comforts available exclusively in the GM trucks. If you’ve been reading GM Authority for a while, then it’s highly likely that you’ve already heard this before. But how, exactly, do the Colorado and Canyon stack up to the Tacoma and Frontier? In a few words, the GM trucks decimate the Japanese offerings. The numbers in the tables below more than speak for themselves. 2015 Colorado & Canyon vs Frontier & Tacoma - 4 Cylinder Engines TRUCK: 2015 CHEVROLET COLORADO 2015 GMC CANYON 2014 NISSAN FRONTIER 2014 TOYOTA TACOMA You may already know that the 2015 Chevy Colorado and 2015 GMC Canyon are much better vehicles than their direct competition — the Toyota Tacoma and Nissan Frontier. 2014 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible Spring Edition - WR TV POV Test Drive
Today we're behind the wheel of Chevrolet's pony car contender. The Camaro received a refresh for the 2014 model year that includes revised front and rear fascia styling, new headlamps and taillamps, and a new SS hood that draws inspiration from the heat extractors first seen on the 2012 Camaro ZL1. Our tester couldn't be better suited for summer cruising, equipped with a power convertible top, a 426 horsepower 6.2-liter V8, a six-speed manual transmission and a dual mode active Exhaust system. Upping the ante even further is the Spring Special Edition options package, which includes 21-inch wheels, the RS appearance package, the rear spoiler from the ZL1 model and a blue leather interior with white accents. http://www.windingroad.com/articles/reviews/wr-tv-2014-chevrolet-Camaro-ss-convertible/ Wear headphones!
