My 1968 turbo VW engine start Unlimited Street Bug
Firing up my turbo powered street legal VW. This is first fire after break-in. Cooker's V-Dubs, Clear Spring, Md. As of 6/21/08, this is the quickest street legal VW on the east coast. 9.66 at 142 mph.

First drive on car and engine...
After firing the engine, we took the car for a very short drive. This is video of the first trip on car and engine. Would've been longer, but the roads here are still covered with calcium, yuck. Created by Cooker's V-Dubs, Clear Spring, Md.

This is a 1966 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia I recently did the finish body work and paint on. The sheetmetal replacement was performed by Kelly "Metwiz" Brown. Color is Porsche Guards Red. The car is going back to the owner for re-assembly. Music by The Wind-Ups.

Irwindale California 3.14.2010 Drag Day, goes 121mph in the 8th mile. I followed the crew back to the pits where they found a bent pushrod. Still a great job and a great car. Legendary.
