Classic Ford's 250 bhp 2-litre Zetec on the dyno
Here's Classic Ford Art Editor Rob's 2-litre Zetec being run up on Ric Wood
Racing's Dyno. The
engine runs a Silver Top bottom end and Black Top head, custom-grind Piper
cams, and Jenvey 45 mm throttle bodies. Once installed in the car, the
engine went on to make 251 bhp at 8775 rpm and 211 lb.ft of torque at 5895

Mk1 Fiesta zetec on bike carbs
Fiesta running a 1.8 escort gti engine, ZX6r bike carbs on Bogg Bros
manifold, 4 branch with pro-built custom downpipe, ESC module to control
Schoolboy error @ Knockhill!
Off about 1/4 of the way into the first proper racing lap, schoolboy error
or a slippy track??.. I'm going to claim the second 1 anyway! Car wouldn't
start as gravel had got into the timing belt, oh the joys! lol
AT Power Duratec Throttle Bodies
AT Power direct to head Ford Duratec Throttle Bodies. Ran on a modified
duratec 2.0 engine at Scholar Race Engines to compare to other systems
available. The graphs show our straight 42mm system making 268bhp, and the
tapered system with 50mm trumpets making 271bhp. The 45mm conventional
throttle bodies made 263bhp.
