Classic Ford's 250 bhp 2-litre Zetec on the dyno
Here's Classic Ford Art Editor Rob's 2-litre Zetec being run up on Ric Wood Racing's Dyno. The engine runs a Silver Top bottom end and Black Top head, custom-grind Piper cams, and Jenvey 45 mm throttle bodies. Once installed in the car, the engine went on to make 251 bhp at 8775 rpm and 211 lb.ft of torque at 5895 rpm. The graphs show our straight 42mm system making 268bhp, and the tapered system with 50mm trumpets making 271bhp. The 45mm conventional throttle bodies made 263bhp.
