Custom 1972 Pontiac Firebird - V8 sound!
Jamboolio records a fully restored 1972 Pontiac Firebird with an 350 cid
5.7L V8 engine and a stunning new paint job.
The monstrous hood scoops and huge air vents added to the all black
exterior makes it a very bad-ass looking muscle car beast! The Exhaust sound is pretty awesome too! Enjoy.

glasspack vs flowmaster
this is a comparison of the two on an '87 firebird with a 305. the
flowmaster has a harmonized sound because of the dual outlet so try to keep
that in mind. unfortunately im stupid and dont know the brand of glasspack
nor the series of muffler.

1968 Pontiac Firebird vs 2010 Lingenfelter Trans Am - Generation Gap: Firebirds
Cast your vote here:
In this episode of Generation Gap the guys compare Firebirds: old vs. new.
Davin brought a classic 1968 Pontiac Firebird equipped with a 350-CID V-8
boasting 320 hp. Matt, on the other hand, had a bit of a trick up his
sleeve bringing a 2010 Lingenfelter Performance Engineering Trans Am
modified to the nines to look and perform like a modern Firebird. Its 455
CID and 655 hp are some impressive numbers, but how will it be on the road?

1987 Firebird Formula 350 in showroom condition
In 1987 there were a total of 88,613 Firebirds built by Pontiac. Of those,
13,164 were Formulas, so less than 15% of total production. Only a very
small percentage of Formulas had the 5.7 liter L98 350 engine and 700R4
automatic transmission, which is the same power drive train as the 1987
Corvette. Factory rated at 230 horsepower and 330 ft/lbs of
This car has brought back to look just like it did when it rolled off the
assembly line for delivery to a new car dealership. Not many of these 23+
year old cars are still on the road, and this is the first year of the 3rd
generation Formula with the top engine option, so it's pretty unique.
Still verifying the official production numbers Firebird 350 models from
the Pontiac Historical Society. I ordered the original invoice and window
sticker, which shows a "retail" price of $16,137.00.
Thanks for looking!
1991 Formula Firebird WS6 0-60 0-100 Acceleration & Walkaround
Just a brief video of my new Firebird.
Has a brief walkaround and a little 0-100 pull at near WOT with a very
babied launch (tranny is still being broken in so I'm being easy on it)
350 TPI with 57,000 miles on it pulled out of a 92 firebird (245 crank
Has a intake/chip/mild cam/Exhaust/global west subframe connectors backed
by the WS6 suspension. Tranny has a B&M Shift Kit.
Body of the car has 120,000 on it - odometer reads different because the
current gauge cluster which is a 140mph cluster was swapped in for the old
I'm basically enjoying driving it for a few months before I put it into
winter storage and begin working to restore/fix the worst parts of the car
- basically being the floorpans and the interior. Have seat covers for the
seats now but am going to pull the leather seats out of a 4th gen fbody to
replace the current ones.
Needs a few other minor things - going to fix some rust as well.
Overall, I bought it for $2700 - I can't complain!
