MG Racing Sandown Trophy Race Round 2 May 18th 2014.
Richard Milligan racing the Morris Garages/RM Racing (ex Dr Mort
Fitzgerald) MGB V8 Roadster for the first time at Sandown!
All three races were rolling starts... a first for MG Racing.
This is un-edited raw video so please be patient, as the first two laps
consist of a 'warm-up' lap and a 'form-up' lap.
The Morris Garages MGB V8 monster dominated MG Racing again in round 2,
qualifying with a 1:20.8 sec... starting from pole position and winning all
The Morris Garages/RM Racing MGB V8 Roadster holds the MG Racing track
records at Phillip Island and Sandown and is currently leading both the Vic
State Racing and MG Racing Championships with a perfect score (6 wins from
6 races) in the first two rounds of 2014.
Classic Car Clinic's MGB raced at the Spa 6 hours using Evans waterless coolant
Classic Car Clinic's MGB raced at the Spa 6 hours on September 22, 2012.
Drivers Jean Michel Guermonprez and Vincent Bokstael.
At 3:00 minutes you can see how Evans Coolant doesn't boil when you open
the radiator cap of an engine that was raced for 3 hours! Don't try this
with a water based coolant or you will get seriously hurt, and your race
will be over! Evans Coolant has a booiling point of 180 degrees Celsius
which makes it perfect for any race- or classic car.

Mitty 2011 "Vintage Racing Today" movie promo piece
We are making a movie called VINTAGE RACING TODAY. It is about the people
that do this wonderful hobby. This is a promo piece for that movie, and
the great Vintage Racing event called the Mitty. It was a great weekend.
You need to go next year.
Vintage Racing - 1950s Indy Cars startup and race. LOUD!!!
Chris Ashworth records a series of 1950s Indy Cars at Michigan
International Speedway. This was a vintage racing event that was associated
with the Concours d'elegance of America, where these cars were on display
after this event.
This event was incredible! I got to wander in the pits and the garage area.
You will hear these cars starting up right from the tailpipes, and you will
see them driving on the track from the pits.

Honda S800 racing with Datsun, MGB and Mini Cooper
In-car video of vintage race at Roebling Road in Savannah. I finished 3rd
overall after finding a way past an MGB and a great race against a Datsun
B210. There is also some very entertaining footage of a fast Mini Cooper
leaving black streaks on the track as he slides through the corners.
The Hawk 2013 - Road America Group 2 Vintage Racing, #66 Alfa Romeo GTV
This is the blue (w/ orange nose) #66 GTV. A few laps from the Saturday
group 2 qualifying race. I somehow had a decent qualifying lap that morning
and ended up on the front row for this session. Please excuse the
sloppiness, inconsistency and sometimes odd gear selection.. I'll do
better, I promise. Posting this in the interest of fun, learning and
(potentially entertaining) ridicule...
Car has 2.0L motor ~160hp at the wheels. Weight a bit over 2000 lbs.
The Magic Midget - MG Racing History
MG was a British sports car manufacturer founded in the 1920s by Cecil
Kimber. Best known for its two-seat open sports cars, MG also produced
saloons and coupés. LIke many manufacturers, MG went racing to generate
publicity and to show off its performance abilities.
From its earliest days MGs have been used in competition and from the early
1930s a series of dedicated racing cars such as the 1931 C-Type and 1934
Q-type were made and sold to enthusiasts who received considerable company
assistance. This stopped in 1935 when MG was formally merged with Morris
Motors and the Competition Department closed down. A series of experimental
cars had also been made allowing Captain George Eyston to take several
world speed records. In spite of the formal racing ban, speed record
attempts continued with Goldie Gardner exceeding 200 mph (320 km/h) in the
1100 cc EX135 in 1939.
After World War II record breaking attempts restarted with 500 cc and 750
cc records being taken in the late 1940s. A decision was also taken to
return to racing and a team of MGAs was entered in the tragedy-laden 1955
24 Hours of Le Mans race, the best car achieving 12th place.
