First Bob Glassup in his "Xtreme" Fiat Fuel Altered doing a real xtreme burnout and then Tony Betts in his "Venom" Fuel Altered vs. Wendy Baker's "Time Warp" Ford Mustang Funny Car.

Lots of other cars too. TA rails, Pro-mods, Super-Gas, Super-Pro, TAFC, the Candyland Wheelstander blowing flames and a jet car.
First test-fire of the Nitro-burning PACERS "Tasmanian Devil" AA / Fuel Altered
50 years ago, CHARLIE DODGE and GEORGE SNIZEK, Conceived, Constructed, and Raced, what became known as one of the Fastest and Most Beautiful Fuel Altereds in drag racing.
Wherever they went, The "TASMANIAN DEVIL" roadster running out of their "PACERS AUTOMOTIVE" shop on Long Island, set speed records and took home best appearing awards. It quickly became a crowd favorite as well as a feared competitor and event winner at drag strips nationwide.
45 years later, a group of former Top Fuel drivers from Long Island got together and recreated this Icon of Speed.
In just SIX months time, ROY MILLER, BILLY LYNCH, BERNIE SHACKER, DENNIS QUITONI, Pacers' Original driver, GEORGE SNIZEK, and George's son, SCOTT, have built a stunning, authentic recreation of The Pacers original altered which returns us all back to the drag strip in the middle of the 1960's.
The video marks the first test-fire of its Nitro-burning engine outside Billy Lynch's Atlantic Auto in Huntington Station on Long Island and the beginning of a whole new chapter in the cars' history.

Famoso Bakersfield March Meet 2010 Nostalgia Drag Racing
2010 March Meet drag racing at Auto Club Famoso race track. The view is from the new Quarter Mile Club area. This is a potpouri of the action. My wife loves Dragsters so this was a great treat for her. Cheers to the competitors!

Outlaw Fuel Altered match race
Tim Hay's High Voltage Hayride and Travis Bouchey's Excitation in a match race at The Abilene Dodge Dragstrip 2008 Night of Fire. Tim ran 5.02 with the engine letting go in the lights, Travis went 3.97. Tim didn't cross center, but he sure scared the foam blocks.

"Flash Gordon" Smith and John Spuffard opened the Nightshow of the 25th NitrOlympX in Hockenheim in a very decent manner.
Spuffard going strong on the Rico Anthes Quartermile with a 5.12 (another new track record for AA/FC), Smith 5.54.
Well, that was an Opener for nice Nightshow to come.
