Solid 1968 MGB Roadster for sale, just one owner until a year ago. Owned from new by a couple in the Bay area until purchased by my client earlier this year. The original owner worked at an MG dealership. It was his wife's car and only used for local drives in their home town. The car starts; runs and drives beautifully with smooth shifting, tight suspension, excellent brakes and clean running quiet motor with plenty of oil pressure. Truly amazing to find such an original gem. Incredibly original and unaltered, right down to the emissions equipment on the engine. Lovingly cared for. The only modifications are period speakers installed in the rear bulkhead and an electric cooling fan added to the radiator. Drives with a tightness and originality that you don't find on restored cars. Has had one repaint of it's original primrose on a razor straight, absolute rust-free body. The wheels still bear the factory paint and car has a vintage Amco convertible top. Frame bag is included. Nice chrome, trim, glass and even the original leather in beautiful condition. This is the latest video of our MGB Gt car. We've now got the custom fabricated uprights on and all the suspension arms on. The new Titan Motorsports custom steering rack has been supplied (early! Thanks peeps!) and a super lightweight, superstring mounting has been made (excellent work Jed!). The turbo mounting brackets have been made and tacked on, just awaiting final welding. We took the new Kirkey seat down today, to see how it fits, looks like we're going to have to make a few modifications to get it in around the lovely Elite Racing Transmissions Gearbox! Hopefully, the next update will have the brakes on!! Got to say a massive Thankyou to Chris Isaacs, without him, non if this would look as good as it does! Cheers peeps!

Hi there, Well this is the second video of our Nurburgring Challenger. As you can see, lots more has been done to the chassis. The mid motor plate has been profiled and that's the first time the block and gearbox have been together in the car! I would like to thank Rob at Elite Racing Transmissions for all his help and support! Also, a massive thank you to Chris Isaacs for his great work on the chassis so far!

1970 MGB Roadster, Mk II, Blue Plate CA Car, Last Owner 28 Yrs, Wire Wheels, For Sale This is a fabulous motorcar! Being owned by a car collector in Southern California for the past 28 years, this is nearly rust and accident free. Mechanically this motorcar is well sorted and is terrific to drive. Everything works as it should and is ready to enjoy as is or it can be cosmetically improved for show. 1970 was an important year. It was one of the last chrome bumper MG's available with wire wheels and no smog equipment issues as in later years. These models will continue to increase in value over the years. Tom and Pat bought this MGB in 1983 and proceeded to have it repainted in the original British Racing Green (the last few photos in the gallery are the car when purchased in 1983). The present blue California license plate was issued to the car when they bought it in 1983 and has been on the car since. The "Blue Plates" are increasingly being recognized worldwide as a certification for being rust free. The interior is all original in black and they replaced the top while having it repainted in 1983. The present condition is nice, certainly not a concours winner but great for daily use or weekend shows! It is complete with a luggage rack, passenger side mirror and a shop manual. It has been used very little. The top has rarely been down for the past three decades. It has been well cared for and maintained as it was part of a significant collection of very fine motorcars, including Lincoln and Packard. It has been maintained by a reputable restoration shop for nearly 15 years and most recently the head was replaced and the car was fully serviced. The brakes, cooling system and drivetrain are superb. The chrome is fabulous and there is no sign of any accidents and this is about as rust free as you'll find an MGB! Look at the photo gallery for the pictures of the floorboard and truck, just like new. Included in the sale are the original tools and car cover. The MG has signs of needing front shocks and the Michelin radials appear to be about 30 years old. Otherwise she is just terrific as-is!
