MGB-GT first drive.mpg
My first drive of my MGB-GT race car. It felt great and fast with
predictable handling and instant throttle response-can't wait to drive it
on a real track instead of an indoor kart track.

Collier Cup at Watkins Glen 2010
This video is from the 4th place finisher in the 2010 Collier Cup race at
Watkins Glen 2010. A faltering engine and some poor decision making set me
back as far as 7th. I had a good time anyway and set the 2nd fastest time
of the race behind only the MGB GT V8 that passes me on lap 2.
MGB V8 0-100mph
NONE of this is full throttle and all soft shifting... while juggling
camera and hat and a hard right hand curve. Think car is good for 130+ with
4sec 0-60 once broken in. Here just got new oil (Brad Penn) and she's at
200 miles since new Rover aluminum 4.6 ?300HP? .During the agonizing seven
years it took to get this car back from the engine/suspension whiz who said
it would take a year or less (constant excuses) to finish, I kept telling
him "you gotta complete it - my health is deteriorating" but IMHO he didn't
listen/care. It is a wonderful car but with recent twin charcot feet and
other disabilities I have to sell it, unable to safely drive it anymore.

MGB Roadster in the New Forest
An edited version of a short trip in the New Forest in my 1970 MGB Roadster
(red, chrome bumpers, wire wheels, walnut dash and overdrive). Sister in
car with me (aged 13, hence some odd utterances), and my phone was taking
the video attached to the windscreen by a tacky, cheap, plasticky thing I
bought off Amazon for all of £5.99, hence the rather shaky video.
