2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 "Getting to know her"
These are clips thrown together from some time I spent on local roads
getting to know my new car. I have about 1000 miles on it now and can't
wait to run these roads again at higher RPM and lower gears this summer.
I'm breaking it in my way :) Still this turned out to be a bit fast at
times but the car didn't slide or even make any tire noise, however my ass
did try to slide out of the seat. ( can you spot the 2 unmarked police
2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat: 707 Horsepower? Hell Yeah! – Ignition Ep. 116
On this episode of Ignition, presented by Universal Technical Institute,
Carlos Lago drives the most powerful production muscle car on the market:
The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. While it isn’t the most powerful
production V-8 in the world (which loses to the $1 million McLaren P1 by 20
hp before electric motors), the Hellcat’s 707 hp rating seems too
incredible to believe -- especially when you consider the cost. The
question is whether this Challenger has any brain to go along with its
extreme brawn. Through a trip to the Dyno, the test track, the road,
and a standing mile, we find out.
Ignition appears every other Monday on the Motor Trend youtube channel.

2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 Edition - Rainy day ride
A rainy day ride in a 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 Edition. Sorry about
the camera angle, I just stuck it in the headrest so pretend you're eight
years old for the best experience. (Edit: yes I am working on a dash cam,
this was meant for those that requested to hear the sound ) Special thanks
to Greg, his card is at the end if anyone needs a nice car.
Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 HEMI - Special Edition ROAD TEST
Experience some sights and sounds of the 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392
HEMI Inaugural Edition. I was able to drive it on the same canyon roads
that I recently drove the Mustang Shelby GT500 and was shocked
at how fast and how great this car handles for being over 600 lbs. heavier
than the Shelby.
This limited edition 392 I.E. package will cost about $47,000 and features
the new 6.4L HEMI engine that is good for 470 horsepower and 470 ft.lbs.
of torque. The special interior is very flashy at first but fits perfect
with the overall feel of the car...which is in your face awesome but sedate
enough to live with every day.
Speaking of living with this car, during my grueling commute to work the
few days I had this thing, my fuel mileage average was 21 mpg combo which
blew me away.
Do I want this car, heck yes I do! But this price range has some stiff
The collect-ability factor is very high with this factory hot rod though.
Dodge will make less than 1500 of these so you had better get in line
pretty quick to own one.
