Wheels standing 1970 AMX SS/H Qualifying #1
6800 RPM launch. 1.40 60' time. First of 4 runs. Making adjustments to the chassis as car is leaving to the left. This run was 10.10 ET at 132.21 MPH. Location is Speedworld Raceway, Surprise, Arizona USA.

390 4spd, 3:15 gears, the rear tires are 295 50 15 goodyears on mopar police wheels and they fit perfect!
Wheel standing 1970 AMX - qualifying run #2
Second run. This run was actually better on the incremental times with a 1.38 60' time until I got past the 1000' mark. Apparently the carb float came loose and fell into the bowl (Autolite carb). This is an NHRA SS/H AMX and is a 390 AMC by MACH Development with a Jerico 4-speed using and Advanced Clutch. Note where the 60' lights are.

Huge burnout and a pretty decent 1/4 mile pass for a full size former highway transport truck.
Smokin' Gun is Twin turbo, Supercharged, and InterCharged Detroit Diesel 8V92 1968 Kenworth drag truck. Just in case that isn't enough power, there's also a 1200 hp shot of Nitrous Oxide to give it that extra kick. It makes 3100 hp to move 9500 lbs down the 1/4 mile in less than 12.5 seconds, and through the traps at over 120 mph! This pass is a 12.91 103.35 MPH pass at Race City... not bad!
