The Nissan Titan introduced in 2004, is a full-size pickup truck produced
for the North American market by Nissan. The truck shares the stretched
Nissan F-Alpha platform with the Nissan Armada and Infiniti QX56 SUVs, and
is manufactured in Canton, Mississippi, United States.
All Titans come standard with a 32 Valve 5.6L engine, VK56DE, which
generates 317 hp (305 hp on 2004-2006 models) and 385 ft lb.ft of torque.
The Titan has a fully boxed ladder frame and is available in either rear
wheel drive or a shift on the fly four wheel drive system coupled with a
5-speed RE505A automatic transmission. An automatic brake limited slip
(ABLS) is available on all Titans. The Titan is available as a King Cab or
a Crew Cab with a full size back seat; no regular cab is available. The
King Cab features a 6'7" bed, while the Crew Cab features a 5'7" or 8'bed.
There are four models available: the S, SV, Pro-4x, and SL. The S is a base
model, the SV is a mid-level model with many features, the PRO-4X is an
off-road-oriented version, and the top level SL is filled with high end

Relentless Throttle Body Test!
Relentless rpm got ahold of Steve's 2005 Nissan Titan and unleashed its
power with their new line of throttle bodies. We tried out an 87mm
throttle body and put his truck on the Dyno to see what happens.

At 7.5psi the truck made 444hp and 512tq at the wheels on 91 octane. Truck
returned nearly 19mpg in the 1200 mile trip home from tuning with "spirited
Stock 1/4 was very high 15sec. I ran a firstname.lastname@example.org with a 2.4 60' at
Pinks Second Chance Qualifying running 5psi. This was with the spare, jack,
tools, tow hitch, tailgate, and stepbars all in place. Weight with driver
was 5340lbs. My truck is an 08 Crew Cab 4x2.
