Friday night drag racing race your drag your ride on the 1/8 mile a great turnout of toyota tundra. The Toyota Tundra is a full-size pickup truck introduced by Toyota in 1999 for the 2000 model year. It was widely considered to be the first full-size import-brand truck built with an American look and feel and a refined V8 engine. The Tundra was eventually nominated for the North American Truck of the Year award and was Motor Trend magazine's Truck of the Year in 2000 and 2008. Currently the Tundra is assembled in San Antonio, Texas, USA where production was consolidated in 2008. The first generation Tundra had many similarities with the older Toyota T100 and the compact Toyota Tacoma. The biggest of those similarities was the shared use of a 3.4-liter V6 engine which was the top of the line engine in both the Tacoma and T100. The V6 engine would serve as the base engine for the Tundra, while a second powerplant, a first for a Toyota truck, a V8 engine sized at 4.7-liters was added to the lineup.

2006 GMC Sierra Diesel Truck Drag Racing Racelegal.com 9-7-2012
Friday night drag racing at qualcomm stadium drag race your ride nothing like a duramax diesel four wheel drive truck drag racing against a 2011 Camaro SS and a trailblazer ss. The Duramax is a General Motors diesel engine family for light- and medium duty trucks, designed by Isuzu. The 6.6-liter Duramax is produced by DMAX, a joint venture between GM and Isuzu in Moraine, Ohio. This engine was initially installed in 2001 model year Chevy and GMC trucks and has been an option since then in pickups, vans, and medium-duty trucks. In 2006, production at Moraine was reportedly limited to approximately 200,000 engines per year.[1] On May 9, 2007, DMAX announced the production of the 1,000,000th Duramax V-8 diesel at its Moraine facility.[1] The LBZ (engine code "D") debuted in late 2006 and continued into 2007 sold only in the "classic" body style. It has an improved engine computer tune that produces increased power and torque over the 2005.5 LLY version of the motor. Changes include: Cylinder block casting and machining changes strengthen the bottom of the cylinder bores to support increased power and torque Upgraded main bearing material increases durability Revised piston design helps lower compression ratio to 16.8:1 from 17.5:1 Piston pin bore diameter increased for increased strength Connecting rod " I " section is thicker for increased strength Cylinder heads revised to accommodate lower compression and reduced cylinder firing pressure Maximum injection pressure increased from 23,000 psi (1,585.8 bar) to more than 26,000 psi (1,792.6 bar) Fuel delivered via higher-pressure pump, fuel rails, distribution lines and all-new, seven-hole fuel injectors Fuel injectors spray directly onto glow plugs, providing faster, better-quality starts and more complete cold-start combustion for reduced emissions Improved glow plugs heat up faster through an independent controller Revised variable-geometry turbocharger is aerodynamically more efficient to help deliver smooth and immediate response and lower emissions Air induction system re-tuned to enhance quietness EGR has larger cooler to bring more Exhaust into the system First application of new, 32-bit E35 controller, which adjusts and compensates for the fuel flow to bolster efficiency

2008-2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Drag Racing Racelegal.com 9-7-2012
Friday night drag racing at qualcomm drag race your ride some very nice 2008,2009,2010,2011,2012 dodge challenger srt8 r/t.On December 3, 2007, Chrysler started taking deposits for the third-generation Dodge Challenger which debuted on February 6, 2008 simultaneously at the Chicago Auto Show[16] and Philadelphia International Auto Show. Listing at US$40,095, the new version was a 2-door coupe which shared common design elements with the first generation Challenger, despite being significantly longer and taller. The LC chassis is a modified (shortened wheelbase) version of the LX platform that underpins the 2006--Current Dodge Charger, 2005--2008 Dodge Magnum, and the 2005--Current Chrysler 300. The LX was developed in America from the previous Chrysler LH platform, which had been designed to allow it to be easily upgraded to rear and all-wheel drive. Many Mercedes components were incorporated, including the Mercedes-Benz W220 S-class control arm front suspension, the Mercedes-Benz W210 E-Class 5-link rear suspension, the W5A580 5-speed automatic, the rear differential, and the ESP system. All (7119) 2008 models were SRT8s and equipped with the 6.1 L (370 cu in) Hemi and a 5-speed AutoStick automatic transmission. The entire 2008 U.S. run of 6,400 cars were pre-sold (many of which for above MSRP), and production commenced on May 8, 2008; Chrysler Canada offered a further 670+ SRTs uniquely badged as the Challenger 500 (paying homage to Charger and Coronet 500s) all of which were shipped to Canadian Dodge dealers. Chrysler of Mexico offered only 100 of these cars for that country with a 6.1 liter V8 and 425 brake horsepower (317 kW) (SAE); the version of which was the SRT8. Chrysler auctioned off two 2008 SRT8 for charity with the first car going for $400,000 to benefit the notMYkid non-profit organization. A "B5" Blue No.43 car fetched a winning bid of $228,143.43 with proceeds going to the Victory Junction Gang Camp.[17] The mid-level Challenger is powered by a 5.7 L (345 cu in) Hemi V8 coupled to a 5-speed automatic transmission or a Tremec TR-6060 6-speed manual transmission. On cars equipped with the automatic transmission, the engine features the Multi-Displacement System and produces 372 brake horsepower (277 kW) (SAE) and 398 lbf·ft (540 N·m) torque.[30] With the 6-speed manual transmission, the Multi-Displacement System option is deleted and the engine produces 376 brake horsepower (280 kW) (SAE) and 404 lbf·ft (548 N·m) torque.[30] Another feature is the Intelligent Deceleration Fuel Shut-Off (iDFSO) available with the manual and the automatic models, the first to combine both a Multi-Displacement system and fuel shut-off.[32] The final drive ratio is 3.06:1 on cars with the automatic transmission, 3.73:1 on cars with the 6-speed manual and 18-inch (460 mm) wheels or 3.92:1 with the 6-speed manual and optional 20-inch (510 mm) wheels. Also available on R/T is the "Track Pak" option group, which includes the Tremec manual transmission, a limited slip differential and self-leveling rear shock absorbers. The 2009 SRT8, while still equipped with the 6.1L (370 cu in) Hemi V8, is virtually identical to its 2008 counterpart, with the main difference being the choice of either a 5-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual transmission. Standard features include Brembo brakes, a sport suspension, bi-xenon headlamps, heated leather sport seats, keyless go, Sirius satellite radio, and 20-inch (510 mm) forged aluminum wheels in addition to most amenities offered on the R/T and SE models such as air conditioning and cruise control.[31] In addition, the 2009 had a true "limited slip" differential.[33] A "Spring Special" SRT8 Challenger was also offered in B5 Blue, but due to rolling plant shutdowns, just over 250 Spring Special Challengers were built before the end of the 2009 model year. For 2010, SRT8 models added Detonator Yellow as an available color (at extra cost), and only with the optional "Special Edition Group". Yellow Challengers were only be built for a limited time (October/December 2009) in the 2010 model year. Another retro color, Plum Crazy Purple, was also available during Spring 2010 production, offered exclusively in the "Spring Special" package. Furious Fuchsia, similar to the 70s Panther Pink, was limited to one-day production at the Brampton, Ontario plant. The Furious Fuschsia Challengers, unlike previous limited edition Challengers, also featured a custom interior with white seats as well as black rims.[20]

2013 Toyota Tundra takes on Ford, Chevy & the Ike Gauntlet Mashup Towing Test ( Episode 1 )
( http://www.TFLtruck.com ) The 2013 Toyota Tundra Pickup is built to tow. But is it better than the Ford F-150 and the brand new Chevy Silverado? We decided to find out by putting all three pickups up against each other in a Mega Mashup by having them tow the old Lincoln Continental Mark V Diamond in the Rough up one of the steepest and highest American Highways. From Dillion, Colorado to the Eisenhower Tunnel U.S. I-70 climbs 8 miles to a maximum elevation of 11,158 feet or 3,401 meters. That's enough elevation and grade to test the most powerful of pickups. Is the Toyota Tundra up to the task of towing a over 7,000 pounds up to the top of the tunnel? In fact according to Toyota this pickup can tow up to 9,000 pounds. That's enough weight to need a commercial truckers license in most states. In this first TFLtruck Ike Gauntlet video review we test the truck up the Ike Gauntlet see how fast it will tow over 7,000 pounds of old American Luxury car 8 miles up a 7 percent grade to the Eisenhower tunnel with the help of our friend Kent from ( http://www.MrTruck.com ). Toyota Tundra SR5 2014 - Test Off road
The Toyota Tundra may have been the Motor Trend 2008 Truck of the Year, but the full-size truck enters the 2014 model year with reduced pricing on certain trims. The significantly refreshed 2014 Toyota Tundra will now carry a base price of $26,915 for a regular-cab rear-drive model with a 4.0-liter V-6. Toyota isn't going to leave the luxury truck market to GMC, Ford, Chevrolet, and Ram, though -- the 2014 Tundra Platinum and 1794 Edition will carry identical MSRPs of $48,315 in CrewMax form, with four-wheel drive and a 5.7-liter V-8. All prices include the $995 destination charge. Toyota claims that the 2014 Tundra lineup's prices are, on average, $263 lower than comparable 2013 models. The 2014 Tundra is offered in SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, and 1794 Edition forms, as a regular cab, double cab, or CrewMax. The double cab and CrewMax are offered with a bench or bucket seats in the front. Engines include a 270-hp 4.0-liter V-6 for the base SR trim as well as a 310-hp 4.6-liter V-8 for the SR and SR5 trims. Of course, the engine we'd pick is the 381-hp 5.7-liter V-8, which is offered on every trim from the SR to the Platinum and 1794 Edition trucks. The V-6 uses a five-speed automatic while the V-8s get a six-speed unit. Toyota Tundra SR5 2014 - Test Off road
