The paint is slick and the interior has been completely redone. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for taking a look!

AMX run, bent the hell out of the wheelie bars!
AMC AMX still getting all the bugs worked out. If you have a fast car thats going to lift, spend the money on a set of good bars. We bent ours on this run and did not notice it till we ran again. Well now the car sits 2" lower on the one side. We bent or fudged something up. More to caome on this one, but might be next season.

The Unfortunate History of the AMC Pacer
Behind all the jokes and insults, the AMC Pacer is actually a car with a great deal of history. It began as radical new design from an underdog company. In an attempt to combat the big, bland, boxy cars from Detroit's "Big Three," little American Motors Corporation decided to build something a little different. Their one-eyed car stylist Dick Teague proposed a small, wide car with big windows and smooth areodynamics. Americans had never seen anything like it. This in-depth documentary tells the true story of the Pacer. Unbeknownst to many, the car persevered through manufacturing setbacks, government regulations, and many other troubles. Featuring a ton of old car advertisements and rare footage of AMC's factory, the film helps paint a picture of the Pacer's world. Director Joe Ligo sits down with AMC stylist Vincent Geraci, author Patrick Foster, and television personalities John Davis and Pat Goss from PBS's MotorWeek.

Wheel standing 1970 AMX - Eliminations and sparks flying
Round 1 of eliminations. Car was launched at a low 6200 RPM. Still a 1.38 60' time. Nothing more consistant than Advanced Clutches (see the web site). Veered off to the left too much. Let off the gas for the 1st time ever and came down with a big thunk. Shut the engine off just to make sure no oil pan damage (there was none). Sparks are crossmember hitting concrete. Slight bevel on leading edge of oil pan. If you ever want a killer engine, go to MACH Development (see their web page). NHRA Best Appearing @ 2006 Pacific SportsNationals (Fontana, CA). Now going to the shop for a back-half and 4-link to tame it down some. Hope you enjoyed the video's!
