Oh Deer - 1987 Trans Am Project Update Number Two

Be sure to check us out on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/RamblinAroundTV I thought I'd give you another update on the 1987 Pontiac Trans Am project. This week, we have some good news and some bad news. We hit a little stumbling block, when a deer decided to jump on the hood of the car. We're still moving forward though, and we'll have everything sorted out shortly. Thanks for watching!

Update - 1987 Pontiac Trans Am Project
Be sure to check us out on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/RamblinAroundTV I just thought I'd show you the progress that we've made on the 1987 Trans Am project. Jordan spent hours buffing the paint out with rubbing compound and then wax. It definitely looks a whole lot better already. He also put a quick coat of paint on the spoiler and touched up some of the silver on the nose. We changed the oil and filter, put in some fresh gas, and it seems to be running really well. I hope you find it interesting...thanks for watching!

Trans Am Project Update and Road Test - 357 V8 Demon 4 BBL
Quite a few of you have been asking for an update on my son's 1987 Pontiac Trans Am, so we thought we better make a video. We've just been busy with other things recently, so we haven't done anything to major to it. As you can see though, Jordan has made a few changes and it's still running really well. Thanks for watching along with this project, we appreciate it!

Shifting a Megashifter 1987 Pontiac Trans Am Project
Be sure to check us out on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/RamblinAroundTV I thought we'd demonstrate how the B&M Megashifter works in regular and ratchet shifting modes. We used our 1987 Pontiac Trans Am to demonstrate just how well it functions. This is basically the same way that most ratchet type shifters operate. I hope you find it interesting...thanks for watching!

Project 240 Le Drift Car - Episode 1 | Getting Started
Basically, this video starts the second day after I bought the car. I bought it as you see in the video with a welded diff, coilovers, mismatched wheels and some other "goodies". The goal is to drift and build the car. If the video seems a bit tedious it's because I wanted to include everything I did to the car so that way people understand how much work actually goes into these cars. Not like those videos that are 10 minutes long and do a whole show car build and make everything seem like a piece of cake and done over night. Let me know what you think in the comments below :) All songs used in the video are by Kevin MacLeod

My Sons First Project Car - 1987 Pontiac Trans Am
Be sure to check us out on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/RamblinAroundTV I've been looking for a car for my son for a while now. He wanted something that he could fix up and keep for years. His dream car was a third generation trans am and that's exactly what we found. It's going to be a bit of a project, but that's what we wanted anyway. We plan to restore and modify the car and film videos of the progress along the way. The car is a 1987 Pontiac Trans Am with the LG9 5.0 TPI V8. The previous owner already added headers, a cold air induction setup, aftermarket distributor and coil, 2500 stall converter, TCI servos in the tranny, drag shocks, subframe connectors, boxed control arms, and more. Overall, we think it's a great base to start with. I hope you find it interesting...thanks for watching!

Pontiac Trans Am Engine Swap Part 4 - Removing the Engine - 305 TPI to 357 Carbed
This is the fourth part in our 1987 Pontiac Trans Am engine swap series. This is my son's first project car and we're having a lot of fun with it. In this video, you get to see how we removed the old 305 TPI engine. In the days ahead, we'll be cleaning up the engine bay and getting rid of any unnecessary wiring or equipment. Then we'll be ready to drop in the new 357 small block V8. I hope you find our project interesting...thanks for watching! http://www.facebook.com/RamblinAroundonYouTube http://ramblinaroundonyoutube.wordpress.com/ https://twitter.com/#!/RamblinAround

Painting Pontiac Trans Am GunMetal Gray Plasti Dip
Be sure to check us out on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/RamblinAroundTV We recently installed a new front bumper cover and ground effects on my son's 1987 Trans Am. After the repair, the car was red and black, with a white bumper...so we decided it was time to paint it. We're not ready for a show quality paint job yet, so we decided to go with Plasti Dip. Jordan cleaned, prepped, and painted the car entire on his own. In this video, you can see that it really is coming along well. I really like the gunmetal gray color. He also decided to remove the door moldings for a more clean and custom look. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching!
