I thought I'd give you another update on the 1987 Pontiac Trans Am project. This week, we have some good news and some bad news. We hit a little stumbling block, when a deer decided to jump on the hood of the car. We're still moving forward though, and we'll have everything sorted out shortly. Thanks for watching!
1987 Trans Am Project Cherry Bomb Glasspack Muffler - 3 inch Exhaust
Jordan wanted a little different Exhaust note out of his Trans Am, so we decided to try a good old fashioned glasspack muffler. In this video, we installed a 23 inch Cherry Bomb, 3 inch inlet and outlet, glasspack in place of the Flowmaster that we had on there. We're pretty happy with sound...it seems to have a deeper rumble at idle, but it's not annoying while cruising down the highway. I know some people can't stand the look of a single Exhaust tip on a trans am, but it doesn't really bother us. Besides, eventually the we're going to do an engine swap and we'll probably put all new Exhaust on when we do that. I hope you find it interesting...thanks for watching!
Shifting a Megashifter 1987 Pontiac Trans Am Project
I thought we'd demonstrate how the B&M Megashifter works in regular and ratchet shifting modes. We used our 1987 Pontiac Trans Am to demonstrate just how well it functions. This is basically the same way that most ratchet type shifters operate. I hope you find it interesting...thanks for watching!
My Sons First Project Car - 1987 Pontiac Trans Am
I've been looking for a car for my son for a while now. He wanted something that he could fix up and keep for years. His dream car was a third generation trans am and that's exactly what we found. It's going to be a bit of a project, but that's what we wanted anyway. We plan to restore and modify the car and film videos of the progress along the way. The car is a 1987 Pontiac Trans Am with the LG9 5.0 TPI V8. The previous owner already added headers, a cold air induction setup, aftermarket distributor and coil, 2500 stall converter, TCI servos in the tranny, drag shocks, subframe connectors, boxed control arms, and more. Overall, we think it's a great base to start with. I hope you find it interesting...thanks for watching!
Update - 1987 Pontiac Trans Am Project
I just thought I'd show you the progress that we've made on the 1987 Trans Am project. Jordan spent hours buffing the paint out with rubbing compound and then wax. It definitely looks a whole lot better already. He also put a quick coat of paint on the spoiler and touched up some of the silver on the nose. We changed the oil and filter, put in some fresh gas, and it seems to be running really well. I hope you find it interesting...thanks for watching!
Hood Pin Install 1987 Pontiac Trans Am
We decided to install some hood pins on our 1987 Pontiac Trans Am project car. The hood took a pretty good hit from a deer and we were a bit worried about the latch mechanism. Also, my son has always wanted a car with hood pins anyway. We still may replace the factory hood with a fiberglass hood, but we can just drill it out and reuse our same pins. I hope you find it interesting...thanks for watching!

Pontiac Trans Am Engine Swap Part 4 - Removing the Engine - 305 TPI to 357 Carbed
This is the fourth part in our 1987 Pontiac Trans Am engine swap series. This is my son's first project car and we're having a lot of fun with it. In this video, you get to see how we removed the old 305 TPI engine. In the days ahead, we'll be cleaning up the engine bay and getting rid of any unnecessary wiring or equipment. Then we'll be ready to drop in the new 357 small block V8. I hope you find our project interesting...thanks for watching!

One of THE most requested videos that I get and given that I didn't have any repair videos recorded I decided to make and post this one as a response to my other video. If you have a video of YOUR tool box feel free to post it as a response to this one, perhaps we'll get a tool box video collection going.

Quick Burnout 1987 Pontiac Trans Am
We had our 1987 Trans Am project car out for a little test drive and we decided to lay down a little rubber. It's just a quick one, because I wasn't really wanting to waste too much rubber. Hopefully you find it interesting...thanks for watching!
My Project Car......

Brett Bordelon's B5 Audi S4 | Planked
*HD PLEASE*
You may have seen my video on Brett's MK3 Jetta, well that sold quickly and he picked up an 2001.5 S4. It didn't take long for him to make this thing amazing. It boasts upwards of 300hp and water meth is being put in currently. This car is the best of both worlds, featuring amazing fashion and humbling function.
We had plans to get some shots of fireworks (we shot most of this on July 4th) behind the car, but the location we chose didn't have the best angles to do so and was swarmed with people.
