My friend (on the Valkyrie) and I (on the FJR) had a fun day at the drag strip. I finally broke into the 10's and my friend finally exceeded a 100mph trap speed.
FJR best run: 10.894s @ 126.76mph (seen from the Valkyrie in the last section of this video)
Valkyrie best run: 13.073s @ 100.51s (not caught on video)

Yamaha FJR1300: At the 1/4 Mile Drag Strip
One of my 20 passes at my first drag strip experience (I think I'm
addicted). Thanks to my shaky-handed brother for filming :)
I'm not sure exactly which run this was, but my best run for the day was:
60 ft : 1.962s
1/8 mile: 7.529s @ 104.38mph
1/4 mile: 11.519s @ 119.72mph
The bike is a 2007 Yamaha FJR1300. Note that the side cases are on the bike
and I also have a larger-than-stock windshield (VStream).

2013 Yamaha FJR1300 first ride
Yamaha's FJR1300 has been around since 2001 and aside from a few updates
along the way, it hasn't really changed.
On paper, it looks like the new 2013 FJR1300 is the more of the same, bar
some nips, tucks and electronic pick-me-ups, but it's going to be around
£1500 cheaper than the old model.
