Boostin Performance Red Demon- 8.88 @ 166mph DSM/Evo Shootout 2011 Semi-finals
This is the best pass to date for the Red Demon at the Buschur DSM/Evo Shootout this past weekend in Ohio. We made it to the semi-finals this year, and it was one hell of a race! We couldn't be happier with the way the car preformed and enjoyed every minute at the event. Paul Volk's compound turbo Eclipse dyno
This is the first successful compound turbo'd DSM (thought there's a few now :-) ). It uses a little B16G and a 60-1. Running 47 PSI and flowing roughly 75 lbs/min airflow. Also, this is an AWD car, but Dynoing in FWD mode (AWD Dynos are rare around here). Power was down due to slight clutch slippage, lack of traction on the roller, and a backpressure/reversion issue. The blank areas on the Dynograph are where we lost ignition signal on the pickup (really needed two of them).
