UNLOAD Flames Up Again at NSW Pro Burnouts

When you see just how nice Steve Loaders UNLOAD is then it's hard to believe he actually does burnouts with it. But not only does he do burnouts, he also seems to set it alight pretty regularly. I think the score is three out of four so far.

Clint FIRES UP at NSW Pro Burnouts
It was great to see Clint Ogilvie back on the burnout track after such a long break. There's no blower on the Torana now, Clint has elected to go for naturally aspirated power with the 330 cube Holden pumping out nearly 600hp with big revs. Unfortunately he had to cut his burnout short at Dubbo with this not so small fire but it couldn't have been too serious because he drove it off the pad afterwards.

CUTSIK Comes Third at Dubbo
Craig Whiddett is having a pretty good year. He came 5th at Summernats, second at Kandos and third at the NSW Pro Burnouts in Dubbo. It's not a bad thing either with an EFI 6-litre with a factory alloy block under all that polished metal.

JAKES MYERS First Burnout - the tradition continues
We've been waiting to see young Jake do his first burnout for a while and he got his chace at Dubbo during the NSW Pro Burnouts. Not only did he do well, he actually beat his old man Gary and first fourth behind three current Burnout Masters. Not a bad effort for his first outing.

UNLOAD On Fire Again!
Steve Loader flames up again at Mallala. But unlike some you can tell Steve is trying to minimise the damage. It flames up, he stops and hope the flames out out, then gives it another shot. Unfortunately this time it didn't work and it flamed up every time he got on the gas.

T4TUFF Wins NSW Pro Burnouts
How would you like to score $10,000 for a burnout? That's what Matt Power did at Dubbo for the NSW Pro Burnouts when he took on the best from NSW, VIC and QLD. The low and mean Holden tonner needed alot of work after it's fire last weekend at Kandos but Matt hooked in and got it sorted and without a doubt the blown 540 big block was the loudest engine on the day.

YLDTOY Spits Flames at Summernats 26
Plenty of action in the Liqui Moly Burnout Championship at summernats 26. Tony D with YLDTOY was throwing fuel out the cap when it whipped around on the pad, and it didn't take long to light them up. It enough to DQ him. I have no idea what's going on with the front end, it's almost like they decided to run without front shocks.

EVILXA Finishes Second at Dubbo
NSW Pro Burnouts saw a reverse of the finishing order at Summernats with Peter Grmusa finishing second behind Matt Power. Big blocks seem to be taking all the wins these days.

383AXE Dies Tragically at Dubbo
While nothing came out the bottom of Jason Earl's 383AXE, it didn't sound good when it stopped at the NSW Pro Burnouts. Talking to Jason later he reckoned that it's probably broken a piston but he'll know for sure when it gets it back to central Queensland.

Crazy Commodore is FROMHELL
First time I've seen this car out. It was at Summernats 26 but didn't see it do any skids there, but they put it out on the pad at Dubbo and set fire to it. Good times!

UIDIOT Snaps The Tailshaft at Summernats 26
Got revs? This Cortina certainly did before the tailshaft let go in the Liqui Moly Power Pit at summernats 26. I think it might have a chev in it.

SIC40L Revs It Up
After watching plenty of stock sixes trying their best at Kandos it was refreshing to see and hear this EF XR6 going hard at Kandos. What makes it different is that it's got a twin cam BARRA motor under the bonnet and he's also removed the rev limiter. Not sure what RPM it was pulling but certainly more than most and he won the 6cyl class with this skid.

NUTTD8 Smokes Out Summernats
The new track and the angle of the sun combined with the wind made filming a challenging prospect this year, and it doesn't help when the cars make as much smoke as Jason Rose with NUTTD8. I know, smoke at a burnout comp - who'd of thunk it?

H8STYRS Revs it Hard & Clean at Dubbo
Kav Chandler travelled all the way down from Queensland for Kandos and Dubbo. He did pretty well at both events with his hard reving VT SS.

CUTSIK Running Amok at NSW Pro Burnouts
Check out the wheels that Craig Whiddett is doing burnouts on at Dubbo. He destroyed his competition set but didn't have any spares for a bit of playtime afterwards so he used his 'show wheels'.
