9 Second Buick GS Stage1
This was the car's 1st 9 sec. pass. Built around the GS Club Of America's GS Street Eliminator Class rules. A real street car naturally aspirated with a complete Exhaust system, full interior etc. It is the first GS to run in the 9's using the original cast iron Stage1 heads, under the GSE rules! It is a stock stroke 455 with an .038 overbore to give it 464ci. It weighs 3500lbs and it idles smooth enough to still run the power brakes! This pass was 9.98@132.4 mph and was backed up with a 9.99@ 132.7 run.

1972 Buick Skylark
http://www.barnfineclassics.com/inventory/1972-buick-skylark Here's an amazing survivor Skylark! It has a great running original 350ci V8 and turbo 350 automatic transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, factory air conditioning, and upgraded dual Flowmaster Exhaust! Everything under the hood is stock! It does have a new battery and new points though! The interior is all original except the carpet has been replaced at some point, and the dashboard remains unmolested and in complete working order. All the lights, wipers, signals, and the blower are working great, it has nice glossy green paint, and very nice glass. It has the original 14 inch Buick wheels with 215/70/14 Firestone raised letter tires, and it is believed to have only 81k miles on the car! This is a fantastic car that is ready to be restored a little more!

1980 Buick Skylark Dealer Demo
This is form a 1979 promotional LaserDisc that I found it is for 1980 model year Buick's. At the beginning of this disc you will hear some audio tones, these where used to program the PR-7800 LaserDisc player, and you will also see single frames of what is on the entire disc as well as still pictures of each model of Buick available that year This WAS the first interactive video experience, the on board CPU in the PR-7800 allowed you to program the viewing and interact with the disc using the remote control. The PR-7800 was intorduced 3 years before the IBM PC-XT In 1978 GM contracted with Pioneer and MCA/DiscoVision to put the Pioneer PR-7800 LaserDisc player into its dealerships, the discs where to be used for demonstrations as in this disc or for training purposes. Now in the early days of laserDisc manufacture there was a very high failure rate, sometimes as high as 85% during the mastering/pressing process, so that left a lot of sides of discs that where unusable. Well these where used to fill the blank side of a disc, the "dead" side was then coated with a special plastic that was clear to the human eye, but it would not reflect the laser beam, thus the side would not play. Well the coating can be removed with rubbing alcohol, which is what I did. These reject discs will ONLY play on the older style of laserDisc player that uses a laser tube

1972 Buick Skylark 455,
My 72 Skylark 350 sport coupe, I've had it about 10 or 11 years and I bought it from the original owners family after he had passed away. It used to be a grandfathers car now it's just an old guys toy. Soon after I bought it I installed a warmed up 350 and it ran real good. One day I wanted more so I built a .030 over 455 and that's when the trouble started. The original owners name Was Charley Daniels(no not that one)May he rest in peace because lord knows, When ever I start this thing up nobody rests in peace. Mwuh hah ha hah ha ha

1966 Buick Convertible Barn Find Rescue, Part 1
This is the story of a '66 Buick Special convertible that had been abandoned in Arizona in 1978 by the family of Rick Pewe, editor of 4-Wheel & Off-Road magazine. In 2011, the guys from HOT ROD Magazine, in conjunction with Rick, spent four days bringing the car back from the dead with plans to drive it home from Phoenix to Los Angeles. This is part 1, with the hacking fun the guys had rescuing the car. Look for part two, loaded with road-trip hilarity. The story is printed in the September 2011 issue of HOT ROD Magazine.

Buick - History Documentary (1995)
This video is a wonderfully-done documentary, written and produced by Michael Rose, on the history of Buick as presented in 1995 from the History Channel's archive. Here is Michael's description of the video verbatim: "No one would have believed that the tinkering of a plumber would turn into the foundation of the world's largest corporation. But it did. David Dunbar Buick invented a process to adhere porcelain to tubs and other bathroom fixtures. But the Scottish immigrant dreamed of making a mark out of the bathroom, and set to work building a car. By 1900, he enlisted the aid of another inventor, Walter Marr, and they built their first vehicle. Their invention attracted the attention of one of Michigan's wealthiest men, William Crapo Durant, the president of the world's largest buggy-building business. As soon as he drove one of Buick's early creations, Durant realized that the days of the horse and buggy were over. He teamed up with Buick, and the two went on to make history. By the thirties, Buicks were regarded as some of the finest cars ever made. From the first Buicks through the birth of General Motors and into history, this is the compelling story of the partnership that eventually became the basis for the largest company in the world."
