Worlds First Supercharged 3.7L V6 Mustang Dyno Run
For everyone that has been waiting to see the blown potential of this new Ford 3.7L V6 Mustang, the Dyno video is finally here. This 2011 V6 Mustang laid down 270 to the rear wheels stock and a whopping 427 RWHP Boosted with 8psi on 91 octane gas. The Supercharger is ProCharger's centrifugal P-1SC-1 unit with front mount Intercooler. This unit is polished with the helical gear-set. 1st NA 2011+ Mustang 3.7 V6 in the 12's!!
Video of my 2011 3.7 V6 Mustang with a 6 speed manual trans at a track rental at MIR on 9/24/12. I became the first NA (naturally aspirated) '11+ 3.7 Mustang to run in the 12's in a 1/4 mile and set the national record for the lowest ET with one of these cars. The previous record was a 13.02 with an automatic car. The car has the following mods: C&L CAI, AM/Bama 93H tune, BBK LT's with matching O/R X-pipe, Flowmaster 'Force II' axleback with a set of stock '11 GT resonators welded in (to tame the sound), 3.73 gears, J&M LCA's, Shaftmasters aluminum driveshaft, Steeda shifter, Spec Stage 1 clutch, 17" Race Star wheels, M&H bias ply front tires and 26x11.5x17 M/T ET Street bias ply rear tires. Also please stop with the 5.0 needs a driver mod. Until you post your stock 5.0 drag video keep it to yourself. Troll Comments will be deleted! The 3.7L Motor is a true marvel. Performing similar to the 4.6 Motor. Some people want to test its potential versus buying a 5.0. This also marks the first 3.7L Mustang to hit 12's. 2013 Ford Mustang 3.7L V6 0-60/5.0
Took my car out of town to check the performance using the track aps. Its my second 3.7 so I was able to salvage a few mods I had made on my 2011. Those mods include a C&L cold air intake, 91 octane bama tune and a alluminum drive shaft. The gears are still 273 and the exxaust just has some ford racing axle backs. Place is phoenix arizona about 75 degrees early one saturday morning. Not that it would make a difference, but I started both runs on the shoulder of the road which is paved and had to steer diagonaly until I was on the road and then straightened it out. Oh I hate to dissapoint but it is an auto. Why, cause their faster. Trust me I know, cause I ran the shit out of my 2011 and never lost to another 3.7 and still havent. I always see them shifting fratically as I blow by after first gear.
