2013 Buick Enclave Luxury Crossover SUV Test Drive & Walkaround Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/buick/enclave/2013/?id=32972 Autobytel recently met with Nick Richards Product Communications Manager for Buick. Nick gave us a wonderful walkaround review of the new 2013 Buick Enclave luxury crossover SUV. This vehicle has been dramatically redesigned for the 2013 model year starting from the front end and working all to the way to the back as well as both inside and out. What's even better is that the 2013 Buick Enclave starts out with an affordable base price of $38,445.
The front end design is now much more dramatic and pronounced look that makes the 2013 Buick Enclave look aggressive. The new grille and LED headlights are the first thing people notice when driving down the road. The standard wheels are 18-inch aluminum pieces but you can upgrade to larger 20-inch chrome rims. Along the sides are chrome accents to give the Enclave a sleeker presence. The rear has been totally redesigned featuring a dual Exhaust that has been integrated into the lower bumper diffuser. The LED taillights give this vehicle a dramatic look at night.
The engine is a 3.6 liter direct injection V-6 that makes 288 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic which helps the 2013 Buick Enclave manage 17 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway.
Buick basically redesigned the entire driver's cockpit on the inside of the Enclave for 2013. The premium materials feature live stitching, contrasting materials, high end wood accents, a new center stack with capacitive touch controls, and accent lighting. One great thing about the Buick Enclave is that it is designed to carry people and families. This large crossover SUV can seat up to 8 passengers but you can also opt for Captain's Chairs in the second row.
The 2013 Buick Enclave is a great buy compared to other large crossover SUVs for a couple of reasons. First, the Enclave price point is lower than most the competition. Second, the Enclave is a great looking car with many new enhancements for the 2013 model year. Third, the interior is segment leading thanks to the nice choice of materials. The Enclave has proven to be a good vehicle for the past 5 years and now with this new refresh ups the ante even more.

2014 Buick Enclave Test Drive Video Review - 3 Row Luxury SUV
http://www.autobytel.com/buick/enclave/2014/?id=32972 The Enclave is a good
choice, its well priced, gets good fuel economy, and has a good V-6. Buick
is a company known primarily for 2 things: the first is that they built
some sweet muscle cars and cruisers back in the day, and the second is they
have evolved into a company that builds vehicles for older folks. Buick has
begun to build more exciting cars in the Verano turbo and the Encore. But it's the Enclave seen
here that younger families should look into. The 2014 Buick Enclave has a
base price of $38,740.
This 3-row SUV could be just what you are looking for. Styling wise the
Enclave is a bit of a mixed bag. Upfront are signature Buick elements that
include the grille and headlights, the porthole have been moved from the
fender to the hood. The wheels are chrome rims. The rest of the styling is
subtle and plain.
Under the hood is a 3.6 liter V-6 engine that makes 288 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of
torque paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Enclave is good
for 17 MPG in the City and 24 MPG on the highway.
If the outside is dull the interior is where the Enclave really shines.
There is tons of room and the 3rd row is very practical. The driver's seat
is the place to be. The interior looks and feels like an upscale vehicle.
The center stack is clean and easy to use.

2013 Buick Encore Test Drive & Luxury Crossover SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/buick/encore/2013/?id=32972 The 2013 Buick Encore
is an all new model that is poised to take on the compact luxury crossover
segment. The Encore combines a chiseled exterior design, versatile
interior, with tons of technology and premium materials to create a one of
a kind vehicle. The 2013 Buick Encore comes in 4 trims: Base, Convenience,
Leather, and Premium. You can opt for either a FWD or AWD version. The base
price is $24,200 making the Encore a great choice as an entry level luxury
The compact crossover segment is so hot that Buick has decided to bring
this all new model (the Encore) to market. If the Encore looks a little
smaller than most crossover you are used to seeing that's because it is.
This new compact luxury crossover segment just may catch on. The Encore,
like all Buick models, has the big signature grille up front. Buick is no
longer at the bottom of the premium barrel, instead it is moving up the
ladder. The large bold headlamps and the portholes in the hood are
signature Buick cues.
When Buick set out to build the Encore, they did not just want to make
another crossover. Instead they wanted a relatively inexpensive crossover
to look premium. The exterior hits that mark with the multiple bends in the
sheet metal and other styling cues, while the theme is carried over to the
interior with the premium materials and tons of technology. There is plenty
of room in the Encore for 4 adults and their gear.
The 2013 Buick Encore is powered by a turbocharged 1.4 liter 4-cylinder ECOTEC engine
that makes 138 horsepower and 148 lb-ft. of
torque. The transmission is a 6-speed manual and you can opt for either FWD
or AWD. Fuel economy is excellent with the FWD model netting 25 MPG in the
city and 33 MPG on the highway.
From a driver's perspective, the Encore drives very well. Buick has paid a
lot of attention to keeping the engine noise and road noise down to a
minimum. The Encore feels like a very premium vehicle when you get in it.
The Electro-Mechanical steering feels good and is responsive. The interior
is very spacious giving the passengers plenty of head room. The soft
leather seats and nice dash materials contribute to the overall premium
feel which is something you just do not find in a $25k crossover. Buick
understands that technology and connectivity is important in this segment.
So they made Bluetooth and Rear Vision Camera standard on all trims. But
it's the higher trim levels that get the full Infotainment system.
The main competition is the Mini Countryman and the Volkswagen Tiguan. For
a starting price of under $25k the 2013 Buick Encore makes a ton of sense
for a lot of people.

2013 Chevrolet Traverse Test Drive & Crossover SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/chevrolet/traverse/2013/?id=32972 For the 2013
model year, the Chevrolet Traverse gets a minor refresh that includes
updated exterior features like a new front grille, fascia, and rear
taillights. The Traverse is essentially a replacement for Chevy's minivan
segment and has been selling extremely well since 2009. In the last 4 years
over 400k vehicles have been sold. Everything about the Traverse is
designed to make it easy for families to get in and out. Seating is for
either 7 or 8 passengers depending on if you want Captain's Chair in the
second row. The 2013 Chevrolet Traverse has a base price of $30,510.
Chevrolet has made some enhancements to the 2013 Traverse, when a car gets
to be about 3 years old a refresh in usually not far behind. And that's
what has happened with the Traverse. Besides the exterior changes mentioned
above, there have been interior changes to the dash and center stack. One
thing that did not change was the engine. The 2013 Chevrolet Traverse is
powered by a 3.6 liter V-6 motor that makes 281 horsepower and 266 lb-ft. of
torque. The 6-speed automatic transmission is becoming a little bit
outdated but the Traverse still manages fuel economy ratings of 17 MPG in
the city and 24 MPG on the highway.
As a driver of a Crossover SUV you want the controls to be easy to read and
very accessible. Chevy has done a great all around job but the one
complaint would have to be the size of the navigation screen. It is very
small by today's standards measuring only 6.5 inches where a vehicle like
the Chrysler 300 has an 8.5 inch screen.
Overall the 2013 Chevrolet Traverse is a great driving car. One of the
things you want with a vehicle like this is good visibility and a small
turning radius. The Traverse satisfy's both of these requirements. The
Traverse is just one of many full-sized crossovers on the market and it
should continue to sell well.

What I have to say about the 2013 Enclave: : The Enclave has been heavily
refreshed for 2013 and by the looks of it, it looks pretty good. One
features that's notable is the airbag that's right next to the center
console which is a first for cars. Build and material quality is also up
for 2013, with nice soft touch materials and stitching, The Enclave is now
more muscular also in the front and rear. All in all great car from Buick

2013 Buick Enclave First Drive Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2013 Buick Enclave is a luxurious people
mover that's been updated for a more modern and sleek design. LED daytime
running lights make for the bold first statement. And optional 20 inch
wheels body-colored everything and a new upscale interior separate the 2013
Buick Enclave from its sister cars the the Chevy Traverse and the GMC
Acadia. We recently had a chance test drive this most popular of all Buick
Models in Kentucky. Check out this first drive review that Roman filed
after hustling the big Buick through the Kentucky countryside.
