2013 Buick Enclave Luxury Crossover SUV Test Drive & Walkaround Video Review

http://www.autobytel.com/buick/enclave/2013/?id=32972 Autobytel recently met with Nick Richards Product Communications Manager for Buick. Nick gave us a wonderful walkaround review of the new 2013 Buick Enclave luxury crossover SUV. This vehicle has been dramatically redesigned for the 2013 model year starting from the front end and working all to the way to the back as well as both inside and out. What's even better is that the 2013 Buick Enclave starts out with an affordable base price of $38,445. The front end design is now much more dramatic and pronounced look that makes the 2013 Buick Enclave look aggressive. The new grille and LED headlights are the first thing people notice when driving down the road. The standard wheels are 18-inch aluminum pieces but you can upgrade to larger 20-inch chrome rims. Along the sides are chrome accents to give the Enclave a sleeker presence. The rear has been totally redesigned featuring a dual Exhaust that has been integrated into the lower bumper diffuser. The LED taillights give this vehicle a dramatic look at night. The engine is a 3.6 liter direct injection V-6 that makes 288 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic which helps the 2013 Buick Enclave manage 17 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway. Buick basically redesigned the entire driver's cockpit on the inside of the Enclave for 2013. The premium materials feature live stitching, contrasting materials, high end wood accents, a new center stack with capacitive touch controls, and accent lighting. One great thing about the Buick Enclave is that it is designed to carry people and families. This large crossover SUV can seat up to 8 passengers but you can also opt for Captain's Chairs in the second row. The 2013 Buick Enclave is a great buy compared to other large crossover SUVs for a couple of reasons. First, the Enclave price point is lower than most the competition. Second, the Enclave is a great looking car with many new enhancements for the 2013 model year. Third, the interior is segment leading thanks to the nice choice of materials. The Enclave has proven to be a good vehicle for the past 5 years and now with this new refresh ups the ante even more. 2014 Buick Enclave Test Drive Video Review - 3 Row Luxury SUV
http://www.autobytel.com/buick/enclave/2014/?id=32972 The Enclave is a good choice, its well priced, gets good fuel economy, and has a good V-6. Buick is a company known primarily for 2 things: the first is that they built some sweet muscle cars and cruisers back in the day, and the second is they have evolved into a company that builds vehicles for older folks. Buick has begun to build more exciting cars in the Verano turbo and the Encore. But it's the Enclave seen here that younger families should look into. The 2014 Buick Enclave has a base price of $38,740. This 3-row SUV could be just what you are looking for. Styling wise the Enclave is a bit of a mixed bag. Upfront are signature Buick elements that include the grille and headlights, the porthole have been moved from the fender to the hood. The wheels are chrome rims. The rest of the styling is subtle and plain. Under the hood is a 3.6 liter V-6 engine that makes 288 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Enclave is good for 17 MPG in the City and 24 MPG on the highway. If the outside is dull the interior is where the Enclave really shines. There is tons of room and the 3rd row is very practical. The driver's seat is the place to be. The interior looks and feels like an upscale vehicle. The center stack is clean and easy to use. 2013 Chevrolet Traverse Test Drive & Crossover SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/chevrolet/traverse/2013/?id=32972 For the 2013 model year, the Chevrolet Traverse gets a minor refresh that includes updated exterior features like a new front grille, fascia, and rear taillights. The Traverse is essentially a replacement for Chevy's minivan segment and has been selling extremely well since 2009. In the last 4 years over 400k vehicles have been sold. Everything about the Traverse is designed to make it easy for families to get in and out. Seating is for either 7 or 8 passengers depending on if you want Captain's Chair in the second row. The 2013 Chevrolet Traverse has a base price of $30,510. Chevrolet has made some enhancements to the 2013 Traverse, when a car gets to be about 3 years old a refresh in usually not far behind. And that's what has happened with the Traverse. Besides the exterior changes mentioned above, there have been interior changes to the dash and center stack. One thing that did not change was the engine. The 2013 Chevrolet Traverse is powered by a 3.6 liter V-6 motor that makes 281 horsepower and 266 lb-ft. of torque. The 6-speed automatic transmission is becoming a little bit outdated but the Traverse still manages fuel economy ratings of 17 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway. As a driver of a Crossover SUV you want the controls to be easy to read and very accessible. Chevy has done a great all around job but the one complaint would have to be the size of the navigation screen. It is very small by today's standards measuring only 6.5 inches where a vehicle like the Chrysler 300 has an 8.5 inch screen. Overall the 2013 Chevrolet Traverse is a great driving car. One of the things you want with a vehicle like this is good visibility and a small turning radius. The Traverse satisfy's both of these requirements. The Traverse is just one of many full-sized crossovers on the market and it should continue to sell well. 2013 Nissan Pathfinder Off-Road Test Drive & Crossover SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/nissan/pathfinder/2013/?id=32972 Almost 30 years ago Nissan launched the Pathfinder which started the SUV revolution. Back then they had a 2-door model then a 4-door model eventually came about. In many ways the 2nd generation Pathfinder was ahead of its time because of the unibody construction. Now fast forward to 2013 and we have an all new 4th generation model seen here. This crossover SUV is all about capability, roominess, comfort, and fuel economy. The 2013 Nissan Pathfinder has a base price of $28,270. The Pathfinder is best in class when it comes to a couple of different areas. The towing capacity is 5,000 lbs. and what Nissan is trying to prove is that this 4th generation is more able than the previous model. Another area is off-road potential and for an additional $1600 on any trim level you can opt for Nissan's Intelligent 4WD System. This system can detect slip and split power evenly between front and rear wheels. Another thing that Nissan wants you to know is just how fuel efficient the 2013 Pathfinder is. Gas mileage ratings are best in class at 20 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway. The Infiniti JX is the sister car to this new Pathfinder and Nissan borrowed a couple of systems from this more luxurious crossover SUV. The latch and glide system is part of the easy flex seating and allows you for easier access to the 3rd row of seats. The Pathfinder is able to seat up to 7 passengers. The 2013 Nissan Pathfinder is available in 4 trim levels that include: Base S, SV, SL, and top of the line Platinum. If you want things like heated front and rear seats you have to step up to the SL trim level minimum. If you opt for the Platinum you get heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel, and navigation with an 8-inch screen. Under the hood of the Nissan Pathfinder is the tired and trued VQ engine. This 3.5 liter V-6 motor produces 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft. of torque. A CVT transmission and 500 lb. weight reduction help the fuel economy figures. 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL350 BlueTec Diesel Test Drive & Luxury SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/mercedes-benz/gl-class/2013/gl350-bluetec/?id=3297 2 The 2013 Mercedes GL-Class is a full sized luxury SUV. There are 3 different trim levels that include the GL550, GL450, and GL350. The original GL-Class was introduced to the U.S. as a 2007 model and not too much has changed since that time. The GL is a 5-door 7-passenger SUV. Similar luxury SUVs in this class include the Audi Q7, Infiniti QX, Lexus LX, and the Cadillac Escalade; only one of which offers a diesel model. The starting price is $62,400 for the GL350 with the top of the line GL550 model costing $86,900. Did you know that diesels only account for 1% of all passenger car and truck sales in the U.S. while hybrids account for more than 3%? For some reason Americans just do not embrace the diesel technology. The 2013 Mercedes GL350 BlueTec is a good reason why you should look into diesel powered vehicles. The engine is a 3.0 liter turbodiesel that makes 240 horsepower and 455 lb-ft. of torque. Most full sized SUVs have a hard time breaking the 20 MPG marker since they are heavy, bulky, and not very aerodynamic. But the 2013 Mercedes GL350 BlueTec averages 19 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway. The transmission is a 7-speed automatic. Like with any Mercedes SUV, 4MATIC AWD is standard as are a bunch of features and luxury amenities. Even though this GL looks like the original 2007 model, there are actually over 1000 new parts. Mercedes really listened to its owners and they made a lot of improvements over the past few years. There is a ton of rear passenger leg and head room. The GL-Class went from being a quirky German made SUV that was adapted for the American market to a full-blown luxury SUV that is real gem.
