E39 M5 vs. Lamborghini Gallardo and Theory of Acceleration
Disclaimer: All runs performed on a somewhat closed course in the middle of pretty much nowhere with professional stunt drivers! Don't try this at home!
Synopsis: There's a real wise guy on BimmerForums, who tells me that:
1) Gallardo's are slow (which they are, I'm not disputing that)
2) I'm a magazine/keyboard racer (I clearly don't have enough experience to
know what I'm talking about)
3) It does NOT matter what gear you start in when you race, because acceleration due to powerband does not really matter.
This video puts his theory to the test with an E39 M5 vs. Lamborghini Gallardo mini-race ...
So, be proud of yourself, an hour of my afternoon was spent making this video for you, ForceFed7! (there were a couple other posters, but they weren't as persistent). But I have to thank you, you finally forced me to go out and drive my car after it sitting in my garage for 1 and a half weeks.

Nissan R35 GT-R vs. Lamborghini Murcielago
Synopsis: Short roll races between a stock Nisssan R35 GT-R and a
Lamborghini Murcielago with an Exhaust. All runs were done from a rolling start
from 10mph to approximately 120mph. All details regarding the two cars are
in the video. The GTR is a 6-speed dual clutch transmission and the Lambo
Murcielago is a 6-speed manual.

This is a promotional film for the BullFest | 2010 Tri-State Lamborghini
Special thanks to Driving Force Club (DFC) and the Tri-State Lamborghini
Club for organizing this absolutely awesome event. BullFest 2010 brought
together over 50 beautiful Lamborghini's, from the old school Countach to
the flagship Murcielago LP640 to the rare LM002 Lamborghini SUV. The
variety of cars was simply stunning. In addition to the collection of
Lambo's, we had a helicopter assist us in obtaining aerial photography and
also a surprise visit from Valentino Balboni himself! The event took us to
beautiful scenic routes, which you will find a glimpse of in this film. A
second film version of this event is expected to be made.

4 Diablo's (an SV as well)
20 Murcielago's (LP640, Roadsters, etc.)
24 Gallardo's (LP560, LP550, Spyder, etc.)

BMW E60 535i (JB+) vs. BMW E46 M3
Disclaimer: All runs performed in Canada.
Synopsis: A couple roll races between a stock 2005 BMW E46 M3 Coupe w/ SMG
Transmission and a 2009 BMW E60 535i with JB+ tune from Burger Tuning set
at 60%. Estimated power from 535i is roughly 325rwhp and the stock E46 M3
should run around 285rwhp but is a couple hundred pounds lighter with a faster shifting transmission. Again,
two decently matched cars, but this race will have a Part 2 when BMS DC
Intake goes in and Boost is
increased. Watch the whole video for the bonus run at the end!

2014 BMW M5 Competition vs 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S Model! - Head 2 Head Ep. 44
On this episode of Head 2 Head Jonny Lieberman is joined by Mike Shaffer
and two extremely potent hyper sedans, the 2014 BMW M5 Competition and the
2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S Model. Between the two of them, these two
mighty Germans produce 1152horsepower and 1092
pound-feet of torque. On paper. After a day of horsing around/testing
Shaffer and Lieberman grow suspicious of each twin-turbo V-8's actual output. So, they take them to
the Dyno gurus at K&N
engineering to learn what's what. The results very well may shock and amaze
you. However, the boys come to the conclusion that numbers are only exactly
that: only numbers, and numbers only matter so much. One true test of a
super sedan is how it handles a twisting stretch of tarmac. The other is
how much you yearn for the car after you've walked away from it. How much
the keys itch in your pocket. While the results are definitive, this Head 2
Head is much closer than most. Have a watch!

BMW e39 M5 Dinan Delivery Day
Delivery day for my 2003 Dinan S Carbon Black on black M5. Just arrived
from Enthusiast Auto Group. Fully loaded with 78k miles.
Dinan CAI, MAFs, Exhaust, stage 3
software, strut bar, pedals.
The loud vacuum-like start up noise is the air pump in the right front
corner re-programmed to be on faster and longer with the Dinan stage 3
software. You can here it eventually go to the normal quieter speed.
2003 E39 M5 on NLEX behind C63s
Monster pair of C63s, ISF, Boxster S, TT, XJR, and E39 M5 on NLEX to Subic.
But my Con-Turd HD Camera crapped out before we got to the good (***High
Speed**) part of the drive.
