2015 Honda Fit EX (6-Speed Manual) - WR TV POV Test Drive
Honda’s venerable hatchback sees big changes for 2015. How big? How about a new platform, new engine and transmissions, and a new look. The new 5-door is 1.6 inches shorter than the outgoing model, but also weighs in at 100 pounds more, due to more substantial use of high-strength steel in its construction, which provides significantly bolstered chassis rigidity for added safety and improved handling. Despite its shrinking dimensions, the Fit’s new platform actually expands on both front and rear passenger space dramatically. A new suspension design allowed engineers to move the rear seats nearly 5 inches farther away from the front, netting rear legroom that now exceeds the generous amount offered in the Accord sedan. The tradeoff is a drop in cargo space, which goes from the 21 cubic feet found in the 2014 model to 17 cubic feet, turning a former segment leader into a mid-pack runner. Powered by a 1.5-liter, direct injected four cylinder motor making 130 horsepower and 114 lb-ft of torque (increases over 2014 of 13hp and 8 foot-pounds over the outgoing model) the Fit is capable of hitting 60mph from rest in a fairly brisk 8.5 seconds. Our tester is fitted with a six-speed manual transmission, and while we enjoyed rowing our own gears, we did note that the clutch was less receptive to being hustled than we would have liked. http://www.windingroad.com/articles/reviews/wr-tv-2015-honda-fit/ Wear headphones! 2015 Honda Fit EX-L Test Drive Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/honda/fit/2015/?id=32972 The competition is hot in the sub-compact segment. The 2015 Honda Fit is at the top of the class along with the Ford Fiesta. While the Fiesta may have the edge in fuel economy, the Fit's roomy and flexible interior makes it a popular choice. The Honda Fit has been totally redesigned for the 2015 model year improving upon an already popular and award winning compact car. The Fit comes in 3 trim levels: LX, EX, and EX-L with prices ranging from $15,525 to $20,800. The 2015 Honda Fit is powered by a 1.5 liter Earth Dreams 4-cylinder engine that makes 130 horsepower and 114 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy ratings are 32 MPG in the city and 38 MPG on the highway. The transmission is a CVT with a couple of drive mode choices. On the inside there is plenty of headroom and legroom for the rear passengers. Out back there is 52 cubic feet of storage with the seats down. The Fit's 2nd row magic seats provide flexibility for hauling larger items. Honda Transmission Rebuild Video - Transmission Repair
Honda Transmission Rebuild Video - Transmission Repair On this video we see what it takes to Rebuild a Honda Transmission, what parts it takes and what has been working to correct some of the common failures on these transmissions. Blue Overheated Torque Converters has been a common issue on these Transmissions for a long time and we still see this regularly to this day. Although there are various shift correction kits and special valves out there, all work really good on correcting the issue with the lack of converter feed fluid. I like them all. So if a deciding factor is important to you on which method to use, all I can say is this, They all work. Keep in mind that there are "other" fixes or items that can be added to the rebuild, but it is not really necessary if they're not really needed, I'm not mentioning any but I know some of you will. With that being said I like to thank you for watching this video and liking it and sharing it. Thank you guys for your support. Please Subscribe if you not already. Thanks.

How To Solve Honda Idle Problems - EricTheCarGuy
Visit me at: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/ Before posting questions about Honda idle problems please read this: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/forum/8-Service-and-Repair-Questions-Answered- Here/41476-solving-honda-idle-issues-hunting-idle The viewers have chosen and this weeks video will be about solving Honda idle problems. I'm really not surprised as I get a lot of questions and requests about this very subject. Here are the links I promised in the video that will help you address specific issues mentioned in the video. How To Bleed a Cooling System http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUpXgAJ1gjU How to Check for Vacuum Leaks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CPqbaSgcok Reading Check Engine Light Codes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BD05sPclLyE Diagnosing an Overheat http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUzOTnsWImI Hopefully when your done checking all that stuff out you will have solved your Honda's idle problem, if not leave a comment or send me a message and I'll see what I can do just make sure you have tried all the stuff in the videos first as that saves me from typing so much. I also want to add my "Idle Speech" into the mix here: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/forum/8-Service-and-Repair-Questions-Answered- Here/41475-solving-honda-idle-issues-rough-idle   There are a lot of things that can contribute to an idle issue, in fact in the end it may still be there to some degree because of the nature of that engine however here are some things to start with. First start with a good tune up, use NGK or Nippon Denso plugs, don't change the wires if they are OE, if they aren't OE you might consider NGK wires as they are very good and less expensive then OE.  A quality cap and rotor should be good.  A new air filter also helps. Don't change the PCV valve, if you see an aftermarket PCV valve in there put a Honda in, believe it or not I've seen idle issues caused by aftermarket PCV valves, the OE's last just about forever so you can easily justify the expense. Next a good valve adjustment, this goes a long way to smooth out the idle if done correctly, mess it up and things can get a lot worse though. While you have the valve cover off check the timing belt tension, if you feel a lot of slack this can cause the cam to 'chunk' as it spins causing a rough idle.  If you think the belt has been on there for some time then you might consider changing it and resetting the tension properly, if it's not ready for replacement you can reset the tension to take up the slack. DO NOT adjust the idle screw under any circumstances, it is set at the factory and that is the reason it was sealed in the first place. If you find that the seal has been broken and you have a low idle and you have done all of the above then you might turn the screw out a little to see if that helps the idle but only enough to try and bring it back to where it was before it was adjusted in the first place. Last clean the screen in the Idle Air Control valve, this can get clogged up with carbon over time and cause the flow through it to be restricted which can cause idle issues. If you still have a 'rough' idle after all of this THEN look to the engine mounts as you want to be sure the engine is running correctly before you go for those as the one in the back is a real pain to replace. --- Click below and Stay Dirty Visit me at EricTheCarGuy.com http://ericthecarguy.com/ Visit EricTheCarGuy Forum http://www.ericthecarguy.com/forum/default.aspx Visit my Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/EricTheCarGuy --- ETCG Due to factors beyond the control of EricTheCarGuy, it cannot guarantee against unauthorized modifications of this information, or improper use of this information.  EricTheCarGuy assumes no liability for property damage or injury incurred as a result of any of the information contained in this video. EricTheCarGuy recommends safe practices when working with power tools, automotive lifts, lifting tools, jack stands, electrical equipment, blunt instruments, chemicals, lubricants, or any other tools or equipment seen or implied in this video.  Due to factors beyond the control of EricTheCarGuy, no information contained in this video shall create any express or implied warranty or guarantee of any particular result.  Any injury, damage or loss that may result from improper use of these tools, equipment, or the information contained in this video is the sole responsibility of the user and not EricTheCarGuy.

No Spark Diagnosis (Honda) - EricTheCarGuy
It's been a while, I've missed you. In this little tutorial I'm covering the basics of diagnosing a Honda ignition system. I had some technical difficulties while doing this one (I forgot to press record on a couple of occasions and missed a couple of shots) and didn't get all that I had hoped in this video. In particular I was hoping to show the use of a test light to do this diagnosis but didn't get all the footage necessary so I'll go back and shoot that at a later date. I'm hoping there is enough information here to get you started in understanding and diagnosing your ignition system so that you don't have to buy stuff you don't need trying to fix a problem. Here is a link to a place where you might find the tool I used in the video http://www.google.com/products?q=power+probe&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US :official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=SG4yS5PPGtXhlAeT8aGqBw&sa=X&oi= product_result_group&ct=title&resnum=3&ved=0CEEQrQQwAg I want to give a shout out to Greg Insco who donated his car for this video, he's trying to get on some show called Survivor next season and I helped him with his application video. You can check him and the video out via the link below. I just checked the link and I see that he hasn't posted it yet but says he will on the 28th of December 2009 so keep checking back on that. http://www.youtube.com/PUTGREGONSURVIVOR As always you can find me at EricTheCarGuy.com, as I said in the video there are new things coming to the site for 2010 so keep checking back to check those out. --- Click below and Stay Dirty Visit me at EricTheCarGuy.com http://ericthecarguy.com/ Visit EricTheCarGuy Forum http://www.ericthecarguy.com/forum/default.aspx Visit my Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/EricTheCarGuy --- Stay dirty ETCG Due to factors beyond the control of EricTheCarGuy, it cannot guarantee against unauthorized modifications of this information, or improper use of this information.
