Twin Turbo Gallardo battles TRC 2JZ Nissan S14
This time out we lined up our 8 second 2JZ 240sx street car against one of
the baddest TT Gallardos in the area. This lambo is no joke, putting down
1150+whp on pump gas and 1400whp on race gas. This is seriously one of the
sickest sounding cars on earth!

The Ultimate Turbo Anti-lag System
A close up encounter with a new turbocharger anti-lag system that will soon change
the face of turbo drag racing forever.
A 224cid Buick V6 spooling a monster Borg Warner Airwerks S510/91mm turbo.
These tests were performed with the afterburner set at a low initial
setting. The full potential and limits of the afterburner feature are yet
to be explored.
This system is very capable of pushing the 3200 rpm stall speed (no Nitrous, zero Boost) of this torque converter to over 6200
rpm stall speed in 2 seconds, and in the same time generating over 220 kPa
manifold pressure. Impressive only if you fully understand the demanding
spooling requirements of the Airwerks S510 turbocharger.
Pro light launch tests with the newly enhanced Nitrous/Methanol ALS coming up next.
Update: Latest performance of the car, 2/12/11, 5.57 @ 126 mph in the 1/8
mile. 1.27 60'. The ALS activated for only 1.7 seconds, and shut down
before launching the car from the starting line.
In the comments section I have made entries that give detailed descriptions
of how this system works and basics on how to set it up.
This system is far from optimized. Hopefully others will play with this
system and make further impressive advances with it.

Update: There was a substantial leak discovered in a tee fitting in a MAP
signal line that, at the time of this video, fed both the fuel pressure
regulator and the Boost gauge.
Trying to judge the Boost level with
the fuel pressure and Boost gauges
in this video would be inaccurate. The Boost level that was recorded by the ECM
during these tests was in the range of 14 psi. The Boost gauge in this video (upper left gauge)
is showing only 6 or 7 psi Boost due
to the signal line leak.
