H&S Performance - 2011.5 6.7L Cummins "HIGH OUTPUT" Dyno
We got our hands on a new 2011.5 6.7L Cummins "HIGH OUTPUT" and decided to throw it on our Mustang 1100 SE Dyno to see what kind of power it would put down. But before we put the new beast on, we decided to strap down a bone stock 2008 6.7L Cummins to get some true back-to-back runs for comparison. The results were interesting to say the least. 2008 6.7L Cummins 68RFE Automatic Transmission ~35000 Miles 5th Gear, TC Locked 316 horsepower 561 Ft-Lb Torque 2011.5 6.7L Cummins "HIGH OUTPUT" 68RFE Automatic Transmission ~400 Miles 5th Gear, TC Locked 289 horsepower 622 Ft-Lb Torque While the "HIGH OUTPUT" shows a significant torque increase on the bottom end, the horsepower seems to fall flat from 2500 RPM +. The 2008 showed a more linear horsepower curve all the way to redline. Although, it should be noted that the 2008 6.7L Cummins we used actually put down some of the best numbers we have ever seen from a bone stock 6.7L Cummins. With just under 400 miles on the odometer, the "HIGH OUTPUT" may still need to "break in" to reach its true horsepower potential. 1989 Dodge Ram 250 LE Cummins i6 Turbo Diesel {+} 1 Owner 99k Miles 3/4 ton 2500
Dodge 3/4 Ton Cummins turbo Diesel http://www.1ownercarguy.com and this is a VERY Nice One Owner 250 LE with 99k Original Miles on it. As you will see the truck is NOT perfect but it is Very well Maintained and Runs out VERY Nicley. Most anything wrong with this truck is missing Hubcaps a deng here and there and a few Pieces of missing trim. I LOVE the Sound of these Big Diesel Motors They Really Get the job done the sound is AMAZING and My Favorite of Any Diesel Truck make sure and check My website ALSO If you visot My Channel I have over 760 Videos on here Lots Of 1 & 2 Owner cars and Trucks and I sell them CHEAP! Add Me On Facebook Here is a Link http://www.Facebook.com/cerealmarshmallows from Wikipedia A Cummins B Series engine was also added to the engine lineup and for the first time, Dodge saw sales go up. The Cummins could be coupled with a heavier-duty version of the A727 automatic or a 5-speed manual transmission and was available on 250 and 350 pickups and chassis cabs. This diesel engine option was drastically different from Ford and GM diesel engines optioned at the time. The Cummins featured direct injection, where the Ford and GM diesels featured Indirect injection; this also meant the Cummins didn't have to rely on glowplugs. The Cummins was a straight-six engine where the GM and Ford diesel engines were V8 engines. As well, the Cummins was turbocharged, while the 6.2L GM/DDC and 7.3 IDI Ford/IH were naturally aspirated.[3] This was not the first engine to appear in Dodges as a Diesel option. Mid-1970s D models offered the rare, underpowered, Mitsubishi non-turbo diesel. I created this video with the YouTube Video Editor (http://www.youtube.com/editor)

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat: 707 Horsepower? Hell Yeah! – Ignition Ep. 116
On this episode of Ignition, presented by Universal Technical Institute, Carlos Lago drives the most powerful production muscle car on the market: The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. While it isn’t the most powerful production V-8 in the world (which loses to the $1 million McLaren P1 by 20 hp before electric motors), the Hellcat’s 707 hp rating seems too incredible to believe -- especially when you consider the cost. The question is whether this Challenger has any brain to go along with its extreme brawn. Through a trip to the Dyno, the test track, the road, and a standing mile, we find out. Ignition appears every other Monday on the Motor Trend youtube channel. http://www.youtube.com/motortrend Subscribe now to make sure you're in on all the action! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsAegdhiYLEoaFGuJFVrqFQ?sub_confirmation=1 Facebook - http://facebook.com/motortrendmag & https://www.facebook.com/mt.ignition Twitter - http://twitter.com/motortrend & https://twitter.com/mt_ignition Google+ - https://plus.google.com/+motortrend/posts Instagram - @mt_ignition Website - http://www.motortrend.com
