(CTY/HWY)14/17 mpg Competitors: Ford F-150, Nissan Titan, Dodge Ram, Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra Trims: SR5 or Limited What I have to say about the 2005 Tundra: When the Tundra was first introduced in 1999 as a 2000 model year, truck buyers finally had the option of a V8 in the full size pickup from Toyota. the T100 was a fail back in 1993 because of the lack of a V8 and only one bed length, but for 2005 the Tundra now has the Double Cab and its V8 is more refined than ever. Not to mention Toyota's reliability and resale value is in to play with this truck. Although it's the most car like out of the bunch, it does lack the serious towing capability and hauling of it's American competitors. All in all it's a great truck, if your looking for more of a family truck and not a work truck the Toyota Tundra should suit you fine. 2006 Toyota tundra with a Lou's Custom Exhaust Exhaust system on it. The customer wanted a loud dual using the 40 series flowmaster and also wanted it to be quiet sometimes. We used a diverter valve that he supplied to set up the Exhaust to run either through a stock muffler and the peformance muffler or just through the performance muffler only

2014 Toyota Tundra takes on Ram 1500 & the Ike Gauntlet Towing Test ( Episode 4 )
( http://www.TFLtruck.com ) The 2014 Toyota Tundra Pickup is built to tow. But is it better than the Ram 1500 We decided to find out by putting both pickups up against each other in a Mega Mashup Sequel. Once again both trucks tow the old Lincoln Continental Mark V Diamond in the Rough up one of the steepest and highest American Highways. From Dillion, Colorado to the Eisenhower Tunnel U.S. I-70 climbs 8 miles to a maximum elevation of 11,158 feet or 3,401 meters. That's enough elevation and grade to test the most powerful of pickups. Is the Toyota Tundra up to the task of towing a over 7,000 pounds up to the top of the tunnel? In fact according to Toyota this pickup can tow up to 9,600 pounds. That's enough weight to need a commercial truckers license in most states. In this first TFLtruck Ike Gauntlet video review we test the truck up the Ike Gauntlet see how fast it will tow around 7,200 pounds of old American Luxury car plus people and gear 8 miles up a 7 percent grade to the Eisenhower tunnel with the help of our friend Kent from ( http://www.MrTruck.com ). 2014 Toyota Tundra Review
Toyota knows the full-size pickup truck market is a tough one to penetrate and is a segment still dominated by the Big 3 from Detroit - Silverado, F150 & RAM. The refreshed 2014 Tundra adds a luxury model, updated interior and refined exterior.
