The rumors are flying around that Cadillac is going to try and take on BMW and Mercedes with a new car, but they also have said another car might be in the works to go after Rolls Royce and Bentley. Could we be looking at it in the Cadillac Sixteen? http://www.youtube.com/user/TheDriveChannel
Maybach Cruisiero: World's Most Expensive Mercedes
Maybach and Xenatec, a German aftermarket tuner, have created a limited run coupe, the Xenatec Maybach Cruisiero. Just under one million gets you an incredible Mercedes. It's time to push the limits for this Mercedes brand. It needs it's own identity. http://www.thedrivechannel.com
Cadillac Ciel Concept:Exclusive Pebble Beach Video

2013 Dodge Viper: The Italian Job
The new owners of Chrysler, Fiat, want the Dodge Viper to live on. We're all for it. They also want this Viper to have a design trait that puts in the world class section of supercars. Who could Argue with that? Alfa Romeo, Ferrari and Zagato all have a hand in it. http://www.thedrivechannel.com
New 2012 Ferrari California Road Test
The new 2012 Ferrari California gets a power upgrade to 485 HP and loses weight. The Drive Cannel had the opportunity to road test it. All the detractors that coined the rear design of the California the "J Lo Butt" must be blind....what's wrong with her Derriere? We like it. This Ferrari is a wolf in sheep's clothing...if you want to cruise it will. If you want to drift like Tanner Foust, it will. The slight against women, those calling it woman's car, will just have to eat their words....plenty of women can out drive men and this car proves it's worth in power and handling. It's not an entry level Ferrari, there's no such thing.
Introducing the Cadillac Ciel Concept
The Ciel -- pronounced "C-L" the French translation for sky -- is a four-seat convertible that opens a new chapter in Cadillac's design and product ascent. Ciel is a new expression of Cadillac's historical grandeur, as well as a celebration of open-air motoring.
1938 Cadillac Series 90 V-16 Touring Sedan - driving
Body Number 15 - Body Style number 9019 - Chassis and engine number 5270087
By 1938 the end was in site for the mighty V16, for 1938 ONLY 308 V16 were produced, with only 43 of those being the touring sedan as presented here, and this is the ONLY ONE produced with the custom bar in the back of the front seat. This art deco masterpiece, is documented in the survivor list, and has a matching number engine and chassis. It is also the earliest survivor, of the production known to still be equipped with the original matching numbers engine.
► Ford Interceptor Concept
http://www.youcar.tv
Building on its legacy of bold muscle cars, Ford is introducing a modern, all-American sedan concept that combines "Built Ford Tough" attitude with the sporty elegance of its iconic 1960s sedans.
The Ford Interceptor concept comes equipped with a manual six-speed gearbox mated to a Ford Racing 5.0-liter V-8 Cammer engine that delivers 400 horsepower and runs on E-85 ethanol.
"This concept celebrates the best of American muscle, showing customers what 'modern muscle' is all about," said Peter Horbury, executive director -- Design, The Americas. "The Interceptor concept is much like a Marine in dress uniform. He looks smart and elegant but you can see the raw power that lies beneath."
CADILLAC SIXTEEN CONCEPT
Cadillac Sixteen Concept
Engine: V16, 13,6L (830cu.in)
Power: 1000bhp (750kW) @ rpm:N/A
Torque:1355Nm (1000ld-ft) @ rpm:N/A
0-100km/h (0-62mph) : N/A
Top speed : N/A
The Cadillac Sixteen was a prototype of a stylish and high performance automobile first presented by Cadillac in 2003.
The vehicle was equipped with a 32-valve V16 concept engine displacing 13.6 liters (~830 cu. in) and was mated to a four-speed, electronically controlled, automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. The engine featured fuel-saving Active Fuel Management technology, much improved from its notorious ancestor, debuting in 2004 on some 2005 GM models. On the Sixteen, it would seamlessly shut down twelve cylinders in light driving, eight during strenuous driving, and only awaken the entire engine under full acceleration.[1] With this type of system, the engine was capable of 20 mpg Imperial under normal conditions. The engine was said to produce 1,000 horsepower (750 kW) using no form of forced induction. The car itself weighs about 2,270 kilograms (5,000 lb).
The Sixteen's custom interior
The car was conceptually related to the Cadillac V-16 of the 1930s. The actual design of the car was a combination of Cadillac's current "Art and Science" design theme and 1967 Cadillac Eldorado cues. Additional original design elements were provided by an in-house design competition led by GM Vice President Robert Lutz. The Sixteen has the Cadillac logo carved out of solid crystal on the steering wheel and a Bulgari clock on the dashboard.
Although the Sixteen fell short (narrowly, by some accounts)[citation needed] of production approval, its legacy is alive in Cadillac's future product planning. The subsequent generation of Cadillac products, particularly the revised CTS, have incorporated elements of the Sixteen's design. A scaled-down version of the car, referred to as the ULS (Ultra Luxury Sedan) or XLS, with a standard V8 and an optional V12, has been rumored for production since 2005[2], but was shelved in favor of the Cadillac XTS.
1933 Cadillac V16 Convertible Victoria
This 16-cylinder Cadillac was formerly owned by Hollywood actor Robert Montgomery, father of Bewitched actress Elizabeth Montgomery. A well maintained and largely unrestored example, it retains its original engine, chassis and body and is one of just two Convertible Victorias built for 1933. An extraordinarily rare car, it will be offered at RM Auctions' Vintage Motor Cars of Hershey, which takes place on October 8th and 9th. NEW: 2014 OBAMA NEW LIMO LEXUS LS600hl
UPDATE APRIL 2013:
President Obama on Wednesday proposed sweetened tax incentives and subsidies to spur the market for alternative-power cars and trucks, promoting his "all of the above" energy strategy while warning against other politicians' "quick fixes" to the latest spike in gasoline prices.
Mr. Obama made his fourth trip in less than six months to North Carolina, an election battleground state he won narrowly in 2008, to describe his ideas at the Daimler Trucks North America manufacturing plant near Charlotte. There, he was met with news that his support in the state has inched higher but that more residents still disapprove of how he is handling his job and the economy than approve of it, according to a poll by Elon University and The Charlotte Observer newspaper.
The president called for increasing to $10,000 an existing $7,500 credit per vehicle for consumers and businesses that buy cars and trucks powered by electric battery, natural gas or hydrogen. He would also expand the technologies that qualify and allow buyers to benefit at the time of purchase, by transferring the credit to the dealer or financier.
The credit's enhanced value would bring the purchase price of alternative-energy vehicles more in line with conventional models, supporters say. Partly because of the vehicles' costs, sales have been a problem. General Motors announced last week that it was suspending production for five weeks of the Chevrolet Volt, a plug-in hybrid that Mr. Obama has promoted in the past. On Wednesday, he did not mention his goal of having one million electric vehicles on the nation's roads in 2015.
Mr. Obama also proposed a new five-year tax break for those who buy commercial trucks that run on electricity or natural gas. Purchasers would get to reduce their tax liability by an amount equal to half the price difference between an alternative-power truck and a similar, lower-priced conventional vehicle.
He also said he would seek Congress's approval for $1 billion to award up to 15 cities that provide the infrastructure needed for alternative-power vehicles, like battery-charging stations, and $650 million for a research program to increase the range and decrease the price of alternative-power vehicles.
To offset the cost of his proposals, Mr. Obama proposed a familiar source: repeal of $4 billion in annual tax incentives for oil and gas companies. While Republicans and some energy-state Democrats routinely oppose the idea, Mr. Obama told his receptive audience of plant managers and union workers to urge their representatives in Congress to support it.
"It's time to end that taxpayer giveaway to an industry that's never been more profitable, invest in clean energy that's never been more promising," he said.
With polls showing increased voter concern with pump prices, in Washington aides to Speaker John A. Boehner circulated an e-mail to reporters quoting headlines from Charlotte about rising prices there. Republican presidential candidates also have assailed Mr. Obama as discouraging oil production, and one, Newt Gingrich, promises $2.50-a-gallon gasoline.
But Mr. Obama used his speech to rebut the Republican attacks, citing statistics showing increases in oil production, acres under exploration and pipeline permits during his administration. He blamed world markets roiled by instability in the Middle East, and market speculation, for higher gasoline prices.
"The next time you hear some politician trotting out some three-point plan for $2 gas, you let them know, we know better," he said. "Tell them we're tired of hearing phony election-year promises that never come about."

2009 Cadillac Converj Concept:
