Massive Barn Find in Portugal
I've tried to identify most of the 180 cars found locked away in here, can
anyone recognise any others? I will add them to the video along with
corrections if confirmed 100%. What is that 2nd Formula race car?
Forgotten Volkswagen SO-23 Split Window Camper Bus. 1961 VW Bus.
We got a call about a possible Forgotten Volkswagen Bus located in Mission
Viejo California. We started making plans to head down and check out the
bus. Original plans included the girls and I making a stop at Disneyland
and picking the bus up on our way home. The day before we planned to take
the trip we had some things come up that made it impossible for my wife and
daughters to come along on the trip. I had already committed to deliver a
car to Las Vegas and had made plans with the owner of the bus to stop by
that weekend so we did a 3 day trip down and back to pick up this bus.
Left Saturday night at 8:00 PM and arrived in Mission Viejo Sunday at about
noon. By 9:00 Sunday night I was ready for a break so we stopped in Primm
Nevada for the night and finished the last leg of the journey home Monday.
This old bus has sat since 1980 outside and was located very close to the
coast. It is very rusty and in pretty rough shape. This bus is very
fixable and worth being saved. Hope to have some updates on it soon.
Thanks for watching.

Best Barn Find of the Year '59 VW PU
This 1959 VW Truck was found near Walsenburg Colorado.
Phil, the old timer I got it from used to drive it daily to tend his
booths at a local flea market for more than twenty years, twenty years ago.
One big concern he had was a bullet hole in the drivers door. I assured
him it was nothing. It had no motor when I found it, but trans and gear
reduction axel were there and good. It was about a dozen different colors,
and had a half hearted start at body work. "No Rust!" I found a 35 horse,
"50k" miles motor in denver for $300, bolted it up and it started right up.
I sold it to a young girl from Denver. Hope she's got it looking good
Sorry for crap video, didn't know I would make a video when I shot this.
This is my first video, just want to see what can be done, and how to do
it. I have a lot to learn, thanks for your help, patience, and interest.
Barn Find: Classic Porsche 912 Restoration -- /DRIVE CLEAN
Go to www.ammonyc.com to get the free Barn Find Assessment Checklist
Today's story is about a true barn find. The car in question is a 1966
Porsche 912, which was last registered 23 years ago. We discovered the car
thanks to our friend Roger Garbow, from Full Throttle Marketing. He had
received a call about the car's discovery and immediately forwarded the
info to us, here at Drive Clean. Address in hand, we turned our crews
around and headed-off to a northern region of Connecticut where we
unearthed and restored this classic car. Watch as we assess our find,
remove years of accumulated filth and grime, and initiate the paint
correction phase on this 912's "Irish Green" shell.
Forgotten Volkswagen Single Cab
How does an old Volkswagen Single Cab get buried under 3 feet of dirt?
Took 45 years to bury this Volkswagen and almost 2 days to dig it out.
Have a look. Took the Syncro for a Sunday drive and spotted an old single
cab in the foothills outside Idaho Falls. This is nine hours worth of
digging condensed into a 15 minute video. It had been sitting in a wash
since 1967. It was buried under two feet of dirt but it's extremely rust
free given the circumstances. The drop gates hadn't seen the light of day
for 45 years. IF YOU HAVE A VOLKSWAGEN THAT NEEDS RESCUED OR KNOW OF ONE
GIVE US A CALL AT (208)200-6053. We also consign Volkswagens if you have
one you want to sell. Thanks Skeeters.
Thanks for all the phone calls and emails about Forgotten VW's that we have
received. This video has helped rescue several abandoned and otherwise
forgotten VW's that may have been left for dead including a very cool 1960
VW Double Cab that we got out of Missouri that had been sitting since 1965.
We also recently returned from Mission Viejo California where we picked up
a 1961 SO-23 Westfalia. This bus had been sitting since 1980. We got a
tip on that bus after someone saw the Forgotten Single Cab video. Give us
a call today if you know of one. Thanks again. Skeeters (208)200-6053

1936 Cadillac V-16 Seven-Passenger Limousine Bullet Proof Barn Find! Time Capsule so cool! Gangster?
Far from a Mustang but way
too cool not to post. 1936 Cadillac V-16 Seven-Passenger Limousine Bullet
Proof Barn Find! Time Capsule soo cool!
Series 60. 452-cid, 185-hp OHV V-16 engine, three-speed manual transmission
Special build limo with inch thick glass and carefully drilled gun ports in
front, side and back windows
In deteriorated condition and ready for a complete full restoration
Chassis no. 5100136
Body Style 6075
Body no. 356
Series 60. 452-cid, 185-hp OHV V-16 engine, three-speed manual
transmission, coil spring independent front suspension, live rear axle with
semi-elliptic leaf springs, and four-wheel vacuum-assisted mechanical drum
brakes. Wheelbase: 154-inches.
At first glance, this car looks like an armored limousine, with inch-thick
glass and carefully-drilled gun ports. On closer examination, however, it
gets more and more curious.
The Cadillac build records call it "Fltwd Limo," body style 6275, number
356, and indicate it was ordered by the Chicago branch on February 21,
1935. Painted Thessalon Green, it had black leather in the front
compartment and Wiese brown vogue weave broadcloth in the rear. Fitted with
six wire wheels, two of them in fender wells, it had a radio in the rear
compartment and a flexible steering wheel. There is a further notation
about "Special Fleetwood Body Order 310," the details of which are lost to
The online Cadillac Data Base, a meticulous compilation by historian Yann
Saunders, gives production figures for Style 6275 as nine in 1934 and just
seven in 1935, exclusive of those given suffixes as sedans, formal
limousines or limousines with increased headroom. The bodies were the same
as the flat-windshield limousine Style 6075, whose Fisher body tags they
