2013 Subaru WRX E85 1/4 Mile Stock Turbo/Motor goes 11.95@116mph MikeyTuned Drag Race Phatbotti VF52
A quick edit of my second(last) pass at Great Lakes Dragway on 11/3/2013. A
1.84 60' with a spinning 1st gear, I couldn't get it any lower- need some
more skill! The car has 11.50s with a better 60' for sure. I've only made 4
passes ever in this car and AWD, couldn't get it in the 1.6s or even 7s on
Special Thanks to Mike Botti at Phatbotti Tuning for a great tune! The
proof is in the traps!

Wrx vs S2000 vs Wrx
My 2006 Subaru Wrx Stage 2 (camera car) vs "Stock" S2000 vs Uknown 05 Wrx.
I was dead even with the so called "stock" s2000, from about a 40 roll to
120. Granted I had 4 people in the car including myself and a jack,
jackstands and tool set in the trunk. The other wrx stood no chance :p
All racing was done on a closed course.
Subaru Wrx vs. Grand Prix GTP Dragrace
My 2006 Subaru Wrx versus a friends 2000 Grand Prix GTP at US131
Motorsports Park in Martin, Mi. We wanted to race side by side to both get
our first 12.xx quarter miles, he smashed his with 12.6 but I unfortunately
didn't get mine, had a 13.4. His previous best with a different setup but
same car was 13.1 my best ever is 13.0.
Wrx mods: Cobb Dynotune Stage 2, k&n typhoon
short ram intake, turboXS 4" downpipe,
SRS downpipe-back Exhaust, built
transmission with RA gearset, Sti tmic, GoFast bits hybrid bpv.
GTP mods: ZZP tuned, L32 block, Gen. 5 blower with 3.2" pulley, e85, 60lb
injectors, headers, 3" Exhaust,
intake, NIC cam and it's fully gutted.

*300k VIEW UPDATE!*
Thanks for all the views and subs, guys! I have heard many of your
complaints on this video (being too long, etc.). So to commemorate this
view hitting 300k views, I made a much shorter and condenced video that may
clear up any issues and allow you to share it much easier. I know some
people dont like getting linked to such a long vid! Thanks again guys and
new vids are in the works!
Links to new, short version:

that drives a focus. lol guess which one it is.

2011 Stock Subaru WRX 13.1 @ 103.73 - 1/4 Mile vs. Honda Civic Hatch
Stock, untuned 2011 Subaru WRX 1/4 mile run. Cat-back removed - stock
downpipe/cats intact. Spare tire removed. Portion of the back seat removed.
Driver weight @ approx. 240. Torque Solutions pitch-stop mount in place.
Completely on factory wheels/tires/suspension/etc...
It was approx. 55 degrees whenever the pass was made at Pittsburgh Raceway
Park (elevation approx. 1250').
60' - 1.8464
330' - 5.3426
1/8 - 8.3167 @ 82.96
1000' - 10.9223 @ 93.36
1/4 - 13.1327 @ 103.73
Their timer was moving the decimal point for some reason - so it shows a
time of 1.31. That lane kept doing it all day - so it cut off the
hundredths place of the time as a result. The trap showed up properly at
3 passes during the day - this was the fastest, others @ 13.4009 @ 104.19
and 13.5135 @ 101.60 (first pass - drove straight to stage at arrival).
This video is a follow-up video to a prior trip when the weather was much
less favorable and before the cat-back was removed
The other car was a gutted civic hatch. It ran 12.5988 @ 118.36.
Subaru WRX STi 2011 Sedan 1/4 mile
Just some video of my 2011 STi trying out the track for the first time. Had
a bunch or problems resulting in low 1/4 mile times. The stage 2 tune
wasn't making full Boost until 5600+
rpm in 3rd gear. That combined with a clutch fluid leak causing hard
Best run was with a 1.783 60' time and 8.46s 1/8th mile. Hard shifting to
4th and the computer pulling all the upper end timing out resulting in a
slow trap speed of 101.62mph finishing the 1/4 mile in 13.419s.
The last run was a full datalog run with just a slow roll out launch. This
is how we found out the timing was pulled out in the upper RPM. The late
spooling was due to the timing being pulled making it hard for the car to
build Boost until higher load
gearing. The clutch leak was found by a loose banjo fitting on the clutch
Looking forward to 2012 to do some more runs and drop to low 12s. The car
now has methanol injection, more timing, more Boost, and a few other mods.

Truck Fest 2013: Smokey Big Rigs Burnouts & Drag Racing Revealed
( http://www.TFLtruck.com ) When you think of a Big Rig Semi...you probably
don't immediately think of drag racing...or do you? This weekend at
Bandimere Speedway just outside of Denver, Colorado hundreds of Big Rig
Semi trucks lined up on the drag strip to see which one is the kind of the
mile high drag strip and which one is the fastest mile high pickup
dragster. Can a big rig run a sub 20 second quarter mile? You bet. Can a
big rig run a sub 15 mile....no problem. Can a Big Rig run a sub 10 second
time? You'll have to watch the video to find out. In another fun and
informative TFLtruck video we see what happens when the Big Rig Semi Trucks
line up behind the Christmas Tree.
