Me and my buddy saw this Evo in Germany at a gas station, after it did a couple of test runs on the autobahn. one of the meanest sounding cars i've ever heard...sucks that we didnt get to make a video while it was driving but then again we were lucky enough to get to see and hear it in idle...and it absolutely rocks

Group N Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X 10 lovely Flame throwing on Launch control. Anti lag is also noticeable. Among many evos i filmed that night, this one had the most agressive anti-lag.
It is running on race fuel. Shot during Rally of Lebanon 2011.

Ultra Fast Hillclimb Evos !
Footage of some racing Evo 6 Group sm (protos) from the Lebanese hillclimb championship. Very fast and noisy 400 bhp+ Evo6 with anti-lag. The blue (Red Bull) one is driven by Abdo Feghali, Middle east hillclimb champion, This evo 6 is unbeaten for some years now. These Evos are much faster than standard Group.N Evos, i'll try to capture what's under their hoods if i'm given the chance. I've been told that the blue one delivers more than 500 bhp on the Dyno.

Mitsubishi EVO 6 top speed
A bit similar to my previous EVO X, one gear short. But, if you look at the difference in accelerating in the VI compared to the X, it is stunning how much quicker the VI is. EVO VI estimated 340Bhp whilst the EVO X had an estimated 370Bhp.
EVO vs STI - Anti Lag and Launch Control sounds
These are Group.N (group N4) rally Lancer Evos and Impreza STI's.
They both have a specific sound, the Sub has a 4 cylinder Boxer engine which gives it a unique sound, the evo has a straight inline.

The Ultimate Turbo Anti-lag System
A close up encounter with a new turbocharger anti-lag system that will soon change the face of turbo drag racing forever.
A 224cid Buick V6 spooling a monster Borg Warner Airwerks S510/91mm turbo.
These tests were performed with the afterburner set at a low initial setting. The full potential and limits of the afterburner feature are yet to be explored.
This system is very capable of pushing the 3200 rpm stall speed (no Nitrous, zero Boost) of this torque converter to over 6200 rpm stall speed in 2 seconds, and in the same time generating over 220 kPa manifold pressure. Impressive only if you fully understand the demanding spooling requirements of the Airwerks S510 turbocharger.
Pro light launch tests with the newly enhanced Nitrous/Methanol ALS coming up next.
Update: Latest performance of the car, 2/12/11, 5.57 @ 126 mph in the 1/8 mile. 1.27 60'. The ALS activated for only 1.7 seconds, and shut down before launching the car from the starting line.
In the comments section I have made entries that give detailed descriptions of how this system works and basics on how to set it up.
This system is far from optimized. Hopefully others will play with this system and make further impressive advances with it.

Update: There was a substantial leak discovered in a tee fitting in a MAP signal line that, at the time of this video, fed both the fuel pressure regulator and the Boost gauge. Trying to judge the Boost level with the fuel pressure and Boost gauges in this video would be inaccurate. The Boost level that was recorded by the ECM during these tests was in the range of 14 psi. The Boost gauge in this video (upper left gauge) is showing only 6 or 7 psi Boost due to the signal line leak.
