Qualicum Beach Show N Shine 2010 "Best Lowrider Trucks"
Qualicum Beach Seaside Cruisers Fathers Day Show N' Shine 2010. I filmed the car show in 2009 and decided to make it an annual event. This is the first of a series of 3 videos dedicated to the show. "Best Lowrider Trucks" "Classic Cruisers" and "Mean Machines"
R/C lowrider truck w/hydraulics
This is similar to the Esca-LAID LOW truck. This is also 1/10 scale. This truck also has a scratchbuilt brass frame. I converted the 6-channel radio to a 7-channel. This truck has an independent front suspension, a 3-link solid rear axle, and a drive shaft from a 1/18 scale rock crawler. It is also equipped with shocks all the way around. The shocks go from the servos to the suspension........trust me.....it handles great. It has 3 height settings.....all the way up, half way, and all the way down. Im sorry i didnt make a "driving" video, but there was snow here when i shot this. But, trust me, this truck is DRIVABLE IN ALL POSITIONS. Sorry, this one doesnt hop either......it weighs about 5 or 6 pounds because of all the reinforcing i had to do......notice the back of the frame is actually c-notched.....i was going for something more realistic. In case anybody is wondering, this body is from a Tamiya CLODBUSTER 4-wheel drive monster truck. R/C guys should know what that truck looks like. I got my inspiration from JEVRIES.....and his REAL DEAL '64 (a true work of art). Thanks man. Comments are welcome.
