2000 LS1 and Wire Harness description
I talk about a used LS1 we purchased for installation in a Devin SS we're
building right now. Don't take my wiring call-outs verbatim. I have some
notes that I will post on www.lowetechrods.com in the coming for those
adventurous enough to do it on your own. Those that aren't - well, that's
where my services come in.
This is my third LS1 retrofit installation in the last 5 years doing them
simply as a hobby initially.
LS Engine Swap On A Budget - Part 1 - Chassis Intro, Oil Pan & Engine Mounts
Chuck takes us on a tour of his $100 69 Chevelle chassis he picked up on
Craig's List. He also walks us through as he swaps out his Big Block 454

First Start 5.3L Powered 1955 Chevy 210 Two Door
First official start up of my 55' Chevy now that the motor is mostly
complete. The engine is a 5.3L LM7, with LS1 intake manifold, modified
stock truck manifolds, dual 2 1/4 Exhaust going into Thush mufflers. I didn't have
a MAF sensor hooked up so when I first started it, the idle was jumping
around a bit. Last clip is after I added dual tailpipes out under the rear

2003 Corvette LS1 5.7 / 350 Engine, very nice running -- just listen!
This LS1 motor was just recently removed from a 2003 Corvette. Price
$2650. It had been lightly burnt on top. The injection has been removed,
and all the gaskets in the engine have been replaced, including head
gaskets. This engine has been converted to carburetion by means of an
Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake manifold and a MSD ignition kit. NOTE: if you
don't need the intake manifold and/or MSD, the engine alone may be sold
separately for $2000. Carburetor and Exhaust pipes NOT included.
Referee certified LS1/6speed 85 SS montecarlo
OK i know my camera skills were lacking. theres a bunch more videos on my
channel of this car..most filmed by other people so u dont have to feel
cheated. in my defense i was nervous in the beginning and excited at the
end ..in addition to trying to film with a flip camera not really looking
through its tiny little screen. if anyone can feel me on that
100% homebuilt 85 SS monte. LS1, 6 speed, OBD2 conversion. complete
drivetrain, harness, fuel system, dash and other misc. parts out of a 99 SS
Camaro. the Camaro only had 47k miles when it
came into my possesion. rest of the car including heater, lights, wipers,
cruise control and things like that all being powered from the Camaros harness/controls. none of
the 1985 harness remains except the dome light circuit. t
GM A-body 12 bolt reareand with 4.11:1 gears and a true track posi fitted
with the ss Camaros 12"
rear disc brakes. shortened upper trailing arms and adjustable lowers with
spherical rod ends to fit the older/beefier/wider rearend. still a work in
progress at this point, but to me getting the referee to approve my work
was a big deal and a huge step. this car passes california smog legally! go
green!...well as green as you can go with a full size, v8 powered car thats
built for thrashing.
