My best run to date with my 2.1L Kenne Bell @ 9psi. 1.752 60' time. Engine is stock except for the blower and the bigtube kit with the 75mm throttle body. Exhaust is stock headers/hpipe with cats then run to the roush side Exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers. Roush springs/front swaybar/lower control arms, stock shocks and struts. Run was made on Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials 275/40/17s. Car is a 2002 GT automatic with a j-modded 4r70w transmission. 370.1 rwhp 398.1 rwtq. I don't know what was in the GTO next to me but it sounded nasty as well.
06 GTO drag racing
This is my 06 GTO, last race of the year. I just put PS long tubes on it
with catless mids this past week. It has an x pipe, & FM 50 series
deltaflows for ex. LPE CAI. Predator tune & Nitto DR's
Supercharged 1998 Mustang vs. 2003 Kenne Bell Cobra
This race is pretty much me and my current car (98 Mustang GT) versus my dream car
(Sonic Blue 03 Cobra). The guy was very chill, and it was his first time
to the track, so cut him a little slack. His car is making over 600 rwhp
and trapping 125.
Mustang GT auto making 325
rwhp and 335 rwtq with bolt ons and a blower at 6 psi.
2003 Cobra has a 2.6 Kenne Bell with ALL of the supporting mods making over
I went 13.30 @ 103.9 mph
Cobra went 12.71 @ 121.5 mph.
I got him on the hole-shot and 60' by a lot, and wound up winning by .02
GT500 with automatic transmission
I converted my GT500 to a 4R70W automatic transmission. Transgo manual
valve body and Precision Industries 2000 converter. To see how:
2006 GTO Drag race in-car video
Raw in-car video of me drag racing my 2006 GTO during the National F-Body
Motorsports Event at O'Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis on May 15, 2009.
My best run that day was a firstname.lastname@example.org. My best with this car is an
email@example.com. The difference was the weather and track conditions.
ECS Project ZR1 hits the Dragstip
ECS' Project ZR1 Heads to Englishtown NJs Raceway Park to lay down a couple
of baseline passes. The car is 100% stock with the exception of the rear
We didnt want to destroy a new set of factory tires, nor did we really
expect them to be able to hold the 560rwhp (stock) or the 590rwhp (tuned)
going down the track. So we opted to pull the factory carbon rotors and
giant calipers and swaped in a set of standard Corvette rear brakes so we
could utilize a 26/11.50/17 Mickey Thompson Et Street Radial.
This car put down a healthy 564 rwhp / 564 rwtq completely stock and once
tuned, 590 rwhp / 593 rwtq on our DynaPack. Stock the car went as low as
11.02 @ 127, and with a tune 10.78 @ 128.9!!!!
Not bad for a factory stock car!!!
Over the next few weeks this car will getting a number of upgrades... More
cooling, more Boost, and more
power.... this car will be featured in at least one magazine.... and
hopefully even more, so subscribe to my vids to see what develops!!!
