Will it Run? Episode 11: 1950 Chevrolet Fleetline (Part1 of 2)
Hi!
This is the latest installation in our series on salvaging junk cars and trying to get them to run, for no really good reason. This time our subject is a 1950 Chevrolet Fleetline Deluxe, parked since 1966! Parts of the engine are missing, and so are the seats. The budget for repairs is about $20, as usual. We'll trade our junker pickup for the missing parts. I traded a couple of dead Mercs for this Chev because I thought it should be saved, and not parted out. Join us for a tour of Coyote Auto Salvage as we find the missing parts and take our new treasure home. In part 2, see if we can get it to go, and look a little better, too. Re-uploaded due to steady-cam feature malfunction.
Thanks for checking it out!
Barn find 1970 Charger r/t 440 ALL ORIGINAL CAR
All original car purchased from 2nd owner. The car was purchased new by two brothers from REEDS KS. The 2nd owner drove by little old motel on his way to college and would see this car parked out by side of motel. He decided to stop one day and asked the front desk lady who owned car. She told him guy in room 112. He went and knocked on door and found the owner. The owner and the college student talked about the purchased price and after a couple beers and a mini cigarette(WINK WINK) the deal was sealed for $700!!!(back in 1976) The 2nd owner drove car very little and stored it after he purchased an old Chevy truck. I went to church with the 2nd owner and had bugged him for years to buy it. Well the deal was struck in 2005 and he also drove very little. The car is a factory power steering,ac,and power brake car. I found a build sheet under front seat that matches the trim and door sticker. Car is really in unbelievable shape for a charger.
