This supercharged Willy's coupel is capable of 11sec quarters but during this run something goes wrong and the rear end locks up driving the car towards the other side of the track where it narrowly misses the other car.
Rod Hadfield's BeauTy
For those who don't know Rod, he's on of the most prolific Australian hod
rodder's of our time. He's built and owned more amazing cars than most of
us could dream of. Check out his highly modified '26 T-coupe. It's running
an Ardun headed flathead V8 and a host of cool gear found around the swap
Crazy WWII Jeep Crashes at Kandos Burnouts
The Jeep purists will hate this one. Apparently it's a genuine WWII Willys
Jeep and the owner has shoved a Holden EFI V8 up front. There's a fair bit
of Commodore in the driveline too with a VN diff in the rear. It's a crazy
little machine and totally out of control. After he hit the rail the second
time the officials got the shits and kicked him off.
Crazy Camaro Burnout
I filmed this Camaro at
Melbourne's Easternats a few years back. One of the most awesome burnouts
I've ever seen. Turn the volume up for this one.
And don't forget to rate it.
Wild 9sec Falcon has trouble going around corners
Now don't get me wrong, I love this car. I've been in this car doing insane
speeds down the main straight at Eastern Creek, but it's not the best car
to be fanging around corners.
But it is wickedly quick in a straight line with genuine 9sec time slips.
Not bad for a street driven car.
Summernats 23 - BIGV8 - Awesome burnout
Leroy Rees is a crowd favourite wherever he goes but Summernats 23 wasn't
his year with a spun big end bearing putting an end to his Summernats
Watch for the flame out at the end. what you can't see is the methanol fire
that's on top of the blower. Watch for Leroy's reaction when he gets out of
Doorslammer Crash at WSID - heavy hit!
Initially I was filming the Pac Performance MX6 in the video because it was
running some numbers that day, but I had to switch cars when this Ford
Probe Doorslammer lost control and hammered the wall at around half track.
Thankfully the driver stepped out without a scratch.
Rotary Crash at WSID
Not the best angle I know thanks to the ANDRA steward choosing to stand in
the road but this RX7 bouces off the wall hard and then into the wall on
the other side of the track. As far as I know the driver was fine.
