Got up early to see if it is possible to do 250+ km/h in this GTI but it's not easy to find an empty stretch of highway. At the time the car was 286 bhp and 404 Nm.

Silly BMW M5 driver was holding me up and didn't get out of the way. :-) I pulled away from him easily in 6th gear until coming up on traffic... To be honest, I was following way too close for that speed and probably pissed him off. This video was taken many years ago, I don't drive like that anymore.
