Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T turbo upgrade - Drag racing in China - Go Pro
First time I'm going, it's simple: they go to an industrial area, "privatize the road" in putting people and cars at the ends and at the factories exits and then race. Public is a mix of racers, people that followed with their scooters/motorbikes when they saw the cars pass by in the street on the way and factory workers and/or guards, not quite what you get in Fast and Furious ahahahah.
There was mostly Genesis Coupe 2.0T with bolt ons and no flash, of course I got all of these, I also easily pulled a scirocco and tuned VW Passat CC (unfortunately, I wasn't filming all the time). The race that interested me the most that night and that I lost was against a stock 335i DKG (at the very end of the video), called DCT in some countries. I guess the gearbox helps him a lot since it keeps the torque and the car never stops pulling plus it has launch control. Anyway, it seams I'll need a good dose of extra HP to be able to beat that, I think it's time to put my clutch in and target 22-23 psi at 3500 rpm :)
Exhaust view and inside view are from my car: TD04HL-19T turbo upgrade with supporting mods at 18 psi. My favorite parts are at 2'54 and 3'59 but the whole video is nice to watch (in HD).

2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 GT on the track
This is footage of me track-testing the 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 GT on the Driver Development Track at Mosport International Raceway in Ontario, Canada. Shot between 2 and 3 PM on a cloudy, overcast day with the threat of thunderstorms. Fortunately, it missed us to the southeast and, with most of my fellow scribes having left the track early (again? - wtf, really?), that meant more track time for me. Thanks, eh. And, special thanks to Hyundai Canada for hosting this fun day at "...one of my favourite little stretches of ripe, driving, track-ness..." Sadly, I'm no Tiff Needell. But I try.
