Junkyard Turbo Swap! Chevy-Powered 1971 Datsun 240Z Autocross Thrash - Roadkill Ep. 26
What do you get when you cross a rusted 1971 Datsun 240Z with a Chevy 4.3L V6 and a turbo from a Ford Power Stroke Diesel? The Rotsun! During Roadkill Episode 25, Freiburger and Finnegan revived the Rotsun expecting it to dominate in the 9-car autocross showdown of previous Roadkill project cars. It also needed to beat a 2014 Kia Rio 5, but failed to do so with the Rotsun shamefully breaking down before completing a decent lap. So in this episode: revenge. After swapping in the mismatched turbo and making nearly 400 rear-wheel horsepower, the guys head to the autocross at the Goodguys 5th Spring Nationals in Scottsdale, Arizona and mingle with fans on their way to a rematch with that dastardly Kia. Roadkill appears every fourth Friday on the Motor Trend channel. http://www.youtube.com/motortrend Subscribe now to make sure you're in on all the action! http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=motortrend Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/RoadkillShow, http://facebook.com/motortrendmag & http://facebook.com/hotrodmag Twitter - http://twitter.com/motortrend & https://twitter.com/hotrodmagazine Google+ - https://plus.google.com/1018679678590... My Sons First Project Car - 1987 Pontiac Trans Am
Be sure to check us out on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/RamblinAroundTV I've been looking for a car for my son for a while now. He wanted something that he could fix up and keep for years. His dream car was a third generation trans am and that's exactly what we found. It's going to be a bit of a project, but that's what we wanted anyway. We plan to restore and modify the car and film videos of the progress along the way. The car is a 1987 Pontiac Trans Am with the LG9 5.0 TPI V8. The previous owner already added headers, a cold air induction setup, aftermarket distributor and coil, 2500 stall converter, TCI servos in the tranny, drag shocks, subframe connectors, boxed control arms, and more. Overall, we think it's a great base to start with. I hope you find it interesting...thanks for watching!

1998 Trans Am WS6 (LS1) with SLP Loudmouth
This is my Bright Purple Metallic 1998 Trans Am WS6, which is one of 10 WS6 coupes built in this color. In this video I'm highlighting the SLP Loudmouth Exhaust. In the first portion of the video I start the car and let it idle, then rev to around 4000 rpm. In the second half, I do an easy 0-85 mph run, hitting wide open throttle about halfway through. This car is bone stock except for the Loudmouth, 4:10 gears, and a B&M Ripper shifter. Oh, and please... save the advice on modifying LS1 F-bodies... I've owned 3 of them, I know what I'm doing.. not to mention that most of the comments I get about modifying them come from people who don't own one and don't know jack shit about them. This is a 1-in-10 car, and it's not something I'm going to modify.
