Beginner slow wheelies 1st day
This is me practicing slow wheelies for the first time. I'm trying to get
the feel for the balance point. The bike's a '93 CBR600. Since the video, I
have taken off the instrument panel, so it won't keep getting messed up,
and it looks a lot better. Any tips or advice would be great. I don't even
bother going fast while doing a wheelie, because I think slow controlled
wheelies are cooler, and better to learn on. Plus I'm not even old enough
to ride on the street, and parking lots aren't that big. Also, I want to
compete when I get good, and I'll need to know slow wheelies more than fast
ones. That was my third crash that day, but the bike's alright, and I am
too since I was wearing gear. I also have an Icon spine protector under the
Alpine jacket. And I'll have more videos up later of progress.

MSD Ignitions 101 - Pep Boys
Jonathan Buckley, host for Power TV, demonstrates in this video a crash
course on the difference between a stock ignition and a MSD performance
ignition. A multi spark ignition gives you more horse power and better
throttle response, but the question is why. A stock ignition system is
good for a regular car, but it is not optimized for performance. MSD
ignition boxes feature multiple sparks at lower RPMS along with a stronger,
hotter ignition spark to completely ignite the mixer. MSD uses a capacity
of discharge technology to create a very high primary voltage. The high
power sparks ensure combustion mix in everything from idle to high racing
RPMs. You can run a larger spark plug gap that produces more power and
How to choose the right MSD ignition for your application? MSD Digital 6
is a digitally controlled ignition that can produce up to 535 volts and has
multi--spark functions, dual rev limiters and a 2-step which is perfect for
a street car. For racing applications, a motor enthusiast should choose a
Digital 7 MSD Ignition. When running Nitrous or NOS, the ignition combustion system
must burn the higher fuel & air mixture more effectively. The Digital 7
features over 30% more spark energy than the 6 box, so it can support
engines up to 2000 horsepower. It comes
complete with MSD Pro Data software to program custom timing adjustments,
NitrousBoost and more. Multi spark coil systems are
available for DIS systems.

kind of power? Better yet how does he connect & survive the ride? Dave

Launch X431 Master 2010
Just showing you all the basic functionality of my Launch X431 Master.
Mine is an import. Everyone told me not to buy an import as you don't get
support. From what I can see the support is just a forum where a foreign
person replies or users help each other. So decided to go it alone. So far
no issues and I have 12months of updates.
If you dont know anything about computers I recommend you buy a UK version
with support as the launch x431 is a complicated device to understand and
setup from scratch.
I want to make it clear that before you buy a Launch, be aware its not the
'holy grail' of diagnostics. I dont do everything. Its a great tool, but
you also need dealer software like a VAG Com in order to perform specific
functions. You will need support from your agent when you find the X431
can't reset ABS on a BMW etc. So its not perfect. UK support is from what I
can see pretty slow. I asked a question on the forum and it took 14 days to
get a reply, that didnt answer my question... So if your buying one and
expect immediate help, be patient.
Apart from that it's a pretty cool device and much better than anything
else I have used.
Example, using the Live Readings on a Corsa that was complaining its Cat
was faulty, it was clear the Mass Air flow meter was giving inconsistant
readings, so although the mass air flow did not show up as faulty once I
saw the readings and replaced the mass air flow meter then car was happy
