Twin Turbo LS 6.0 Intercooled 1965 GMC Panel Van
Josh's 1965 GMC Panel Van. Twin turbo LS 6.0 Motor with Twin 60MM turbochargers, 2 into 1 Intercooler. Z06 Corvette Cam. ls6 valve springs. Comp Cams pushrods. Comp Cams double roller timing chain. Trick flow 80lb Fuel injectors, Holley HP EFI Engine management system. Full body off rebuild. Air Bag suspension. Detroit Locker. 4:11 rear gears. Mickey Thomson slicks... The 5.3 got a little upset one day and melted the top of a piston....So, we found a 6.0 Litre and put all the goodies in it from the 5.3 and opened up the top ring gaps to 30 thou. Should be better now. Josh had it all up and running again in a week! Has more jam at bottom end than the 5.3 he reports. The first Holley HP EFI Control unit quit working for no reason. Holley were very helpful and after a month or two sent us a Second Gen ECU free of charge. It worked again right out of the box and the old panel fired up first turn, so we are ready for spring when it gets here.... By the way the wastegates are now routed to the Exhaust, so no more smoky cab!!!

Steven Loader's Holden HG street cruiser receives it's first Dyno tune at MPW. The car has been fitted with a GM LS1 V8 346ci stock internal engine and turbonetics turbochargers.
