Here is a video of me running my fathers 1969 Road Runner against a 1970 Dart. These are both race cars and are equiped with race engines. The Dart is running a 416 cid stroker small block mopar...fully ported (by hughes engines), 600" solid cam, 11:1 compression. Has fiber glass front end and doors. 2600Lbs.
The 1969 Runner is running a 493 cid Block Stroker mopar. Fully ported (by KTR Racing engines) Edelbrock heads, .700" Solid Roller cam, 14:1 compression. Has Fiber glass fenders and hood. Doors are steel and the glass wind shield remains. 3200LBS.
(this is the first pass that the Road Runner made with its 493 cid engine... there is more there after tuning).

440 Road Runner Vs 426 Hemi Challenger
This video was filmed in summer of 1999 and I was 20 years old. In this
video,I was driving my fathers 1969 440 Road Runner and I was paired up
against 1970 426 Hemi Challenger in a heads-up race (no handicap start).
The guy driving the Hemi Challenger was a national champion and the
challenger was also a national record holder for its class. The two cars
ran side by side all the way down the track and in the end I beat him with
a 7.13 to his 7.12. Thats right, I ran slower and beat him...the reason I
won was because I had a perfect .500 reaction time. I tree'd him like it
was nobody's business (only kiddin). Enjoy!!!

Greg's 9 second 74 Duster
This car has been a long time coming for Greg. The engine, an SDCE built
383cid has an SDCE sheetmetal intake and runs on SDS EFI. Boost comes from the SDCE 12 rib D series
intercooled ProCharger system. Built back in 2002 making 801 flywheel HP on
our engine Dyno at
6200RPM's and about 12.5 PSI of Boost, Greg hasn't touched the program at all
since it left our shop back in 2002!
The tranny is a GM 4L80E with a transbrake.

A great time, but got there at 11 am and was wiped out by 4:30. Final 16
wasn't until after dusk. Glad I went ...but I've seen faster and more interesting race cars at
other events. Lots of people because ...it's on TV, I guess.

and sun tach was added. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd plus stopping test was a success.
An improved track time is expected.
