Mustang MagnaFlow Catback Exhaust Kit and X-Pipe Installation 1999-2004
This MagnaFlow Stainless Steel Catback Exhaust Kit with 3.5" Exhaust Tips is for 1999-2004 Cobra Mustangs. It's made from 2.5"
madrel-bent, 100% stainless steel tubing, and will give your Mustang a smooth, deep Exhaust tone, while also giving you performance
gains in horsepower and torque.
MagnaFlow X-Pipe 2.5" Off-Road V8 1999-2004:
MagnaFlow's off-road X-pipe is made from 2.5" madrel-bent, 100% stainless
steel tubing and is designed for use with stock manifolds or shorty
headers. Included is all required mounting hardware.
For installation, first begin by removing the factory Exhaust system and factory H-pipe. Then, remove
the stock catback and tailpipe from the hanger, removing the factory
tailpipe. Move the oxygen sensors from the old H-pipe to the new X-pipe,
and you're ready to secure the X-pipe up into place.
Next, begin putting into place the new catback Exhaust, including the mufflers, tailpipes, and
Exhaust tips. Reconnect the sensors,
and your install is finished. Total installation takes around four hours.

Cadillac CTS-V Exhaust Comparison: Magnaflow VS. Magnaflow and Kooks Headers
Before and After Video of Magnaflow Catback Exhaust with and without Kooks 1 3/4" headers
and high flow cats on a CTS-V. Car is louder overall, as well as deeper and
raspier with the headers on. V also has K&N CAI and various other mods not
relevant to the Exhaust note.
NOTES: Car in backround is 2003 Terminator Cobra. Car is smoking at
beginning of second video because the car was warmed up (it was cold out,
and didn't want to rev the engine cold).

are too quiet?
98' Chevy Silverado exhaust progression
this is a follow on from my first video. this video has that set up plus my
new setups. currently the truck has two Magnaflow XL's at 2 1/2" each,
x-pipe, no cats. i ended up running pipes out the back because i couldn't
get rid of that bad rasp you hear in the dumped clips, sounds much better.
i getting a magnaflow x-pipe installed in place of the other one, the other
one is not a truflow design, and also getting a set of pacessetter long
tube headers. let me know what you think.
