What Camerons Car Reviews has to say about the Tahoe: It used to be one of
the best selling segments in America in the 90's and early 2000's, the Full
Size SUV segment. However, with rising gas prices and a need for more fuel
efficient cars this segment has been forgotten especially with full size
crossovers snatching there sales due to there more practical package, For
2015 the Tahoe looks to get fully redesigned that was much needed to keep
on with technology and styling elements that other vehicles have today as
it was getting behind the times in those key areas. Under the hood you will
find the star of the show that is still convincing some people to buy a
full size SUV over a crossover which is a very promising 5.3 L V8 that's
extremely potent and hauls anything in the back without comprise with
delivering better fuel economy this time around. On the inside you will
find everything to be rich in materials and textures that was much needed
since you are spending a boat load of money. Also many new standard
features come this time around including a backup camera and bluetooth
streaming audio. Even the base trim LS feels quite luxurious inside with
nice stitching on the dashboard. Room inside is quite good and the second
row can even get luxury features such as Captains Chairs and heated seats.
The 2015 Tahoe is quite a good full size SUV and is for sure the best in
the segment right now when it comes to a all conquering body on frame SUV
with great towing capabilities, however take out the engine and the towing
capacity, other full size crossovers deserve consideration.

2000 Chevrolet Tahoe Overview and Test Drive
Oh, look! It's a living room on wheels to go with my road sofa!
I'm thinking of trading in my 2003 Chevrolet S-10 "truckling" after roughly
eleven years of driving it. I bought my truckling new in late 2002, back
when GM was doing anything they could to sell vehicles.
Why? While my truckling still runs and drives well, it's got some body
damage, a door hinge that has been steadily pulling out of the weld ever
the since the wind took the door out of my hand one day, lots of wind noise
and a water leak due to the bad hinge, some rust "worms" are starting to
appear above the rear wheel wells and there is a rotted cab corner on the
passenger's side. As much as I like my little truck, it's had a lot of
stupid little problems over the years, and the interior isn't holding up
too well. Furhead also took the silver Buick down the driver's side of my
truckling one day when he wasn't watching where he was going. Add to all of
this a few electrical problems that cropped up recently, and I think it
might be time to trade it off.
This Tahoe is older and has more miles. Its body is in better shape,
although the underside is rustier than my truckling. (I guess all those
years of washing off my truckling's underside were good for something.)
I'm not worried about paying for the truck. I've thought about how to do
that and I have a good plan in mind. My only concern is "the devil you
know"...in other words, I know what's wrong with my truck and what it's
been through over the years. I don't know about the Tahoe, though I suspect
its previous owners did take at least some care of it. And...there is
definitely some sentimental attachment to the truck I have now.

Chevrolet 350 V8 engine (possibly the last year for it?)
Electronically shifted four-wheel-drive (appears to work fine)

Approximately 156,7xx miles on the clock (my truckling has 99,650 or so)
Factory installed trailering package and frame mounted hitch receiver
Factory installed skid plates on front differential, rear differential,
transmission and transfer case (and they are present)
Four wheel drive (or at least a limited slip rear end) is the one thing I
came to regret not having on my truckling.
I would welcome your thoughts good or bad, especially from those of you own
or have owned one of these trucks. I do expect that fuel economy will be
nowhere near as good as that of my truckling, but that's fine with me.
Limit Pushing - Cadillac Escalade Top Speed Test
Cadillac Escalade High Speed Test (Top Speed Limited: 106 mph)

Premium Large Sport-utility Vehicle
In 1998 Ford launched the Lincoln Navigator into the automotive market. GM
quickly devised a response to the Navigator and in 1999 GM introduced the
first generation of the Escalade. The original Escalade was launched with
the 5.7 L Vortec 5700 V8 at 255 hp engine and Autotrac selectable 4x4. Over
the years the Escalade became infamous for having almost identical designs
as the Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon and Yukon Denali. GM did not produce a
2001 Escalade but instead redesigned the SUV for the 2002 model year. In
2004 the Escalade received many different changes to the luxury of the
vehicle including optional 20 inch rims, XM satellite radio, second-row
bucket seats, and a tire pressure monitoring system. In 2005 a Platinum
edition of the Escalade was introduced. The Platinum edition featured
heated and cooled cup holders, 20 inch chrome wheels, moon roof, three DVD
screens, and chrome accents on the steering wheel and grille.
In 2007 the Escalade underwent another remodeling. The 2007 Escalade's
engine is an all-aluminum 6.2 L Vortec V8. This pushrod engine includes
variable valve timing, a first in a mass-produced non-overhead cam engine.
The engine produces 403 hp (23 hp more than the GMC Yukon Denali) and 417
lbs of torque. The Escalade comes with a six-speed 6L80 automatic

This is a pretty random video I put together kind of like the 2003 mini

awesome suv! I give a short tour of the exterior and interior as well as
